"Ughh...I'm so done with school..." I groaned out loud holding my head as I walk down the dirt path through the woods.
I live with my German shepherd Valor in a wooden house my family built from scratch.
Hearing the croaks of frogs along the riverbanks and the rushing of water made me drift off into space.
I tried not to think of the many assignments.
I must do mostly typing 3 weeks of papers, finishing a study guide, and starting on my research paper for next week.
I deeply exhale.
I blow a strand of pink hair to the side. Besides that, I'm happy it's the weekend.
I snap of a twig snapping broke me out of my thoughts.
I quickly turn my head side to side looking for an animal or someone being there.
My eyes narrow in the shadowed hole of trees.
I scratch my head as I don't see anything and turn back to the trail, starting to see the sliver gate of my home.
{Unknown to him yellow eyes follow his movements...}
I close the door of the house, putting me keys in the pineapple shaped bowl.
I was about to take off my bookbag but was tacked and covered in saliva by licks. "Whaa-!..Valor!..Hhahaha stop hah!!..Let me get up, girl!!~" I smile as she backs up sitting in front of me panting rapidly.
I sit up scratching her behind her ears and under her chin.
I get up and go to the kitchen throwing my bag on the couch. I open the cabinet taking the dog food out.
She follows me around the kitchen and barks happily as I pour her food and water in her bowls.
I set them down allowing her to start eating.
I smile as I rub her fluffy back while she eats.
I put the dog food back under the sink walking out the kitchen to get my bag and head to my room.
I put down my bag and flop face first on my bed letting out a loud groan in my pillow.
I turn over staring at my ceiling.
I take off my shoes and gray sweater leaving my white turtleneck on.
My stomach growls signaling Its feeding time for me.
I close my bedroom door and set off to the kitchen once more to see what to cook.
I open the fridge spotting some shrimp and pasta sauce.
I set them on the counter-top and investigate the cabinet finding some pasta.
"I'll make some shrimp alfredo tonight." I roll up my sleeves, tie my apron around my waist, and take out the pot starting to cook.
{Through the window showing the kitchen the yellow eyes from before watches Levi as he prepares his meal...The unknown being growls gently and disappears into the night}
