Living in the Zoo

Chapter 1

Days after the experiment...Ken P.O.V

I woke up in a hard floor, i noticed it was made of Iron and i also noticed some changes.
-i can't feel my clothes
-i have fur all over my body
-my teeth feels sharper in my mouth

I opens my eyes wider to see i was surrounded by iron bars, Trees, Grass and other Lions. I tried to remember something when i heard what the scientists said before i fades out "hold on...that means I'm a lion now! And according to my calculation...im 16 years old in human years which mean im 2 years old, nearing 3 years old! Oh...how I'm gonna miss my family" I thought in my head. I sees a Zoo worker carrying my cage to the Lion glass enclosure. I know that i don't stand a chance knowing they might have a taser to neutralize me.

They stopped just at the front of the gate and opens it, my cage also opened and i rushed into the enclosure. I sees that there's a small amount of Lions in the enclosure. I counted and there's 1 Male and 3 females. Me being the shy perso-*clears throat* person Lion i was walks slowly.

The male noticed my appearance and walks to me. By now, the zoo worker has left and now i was all alone. I know Lion behavior towards other cubs can be aggressive and that's why i was scared to death. "Hello kid, what's your name?" I was kinda suprised by the Lion kindess in his voice. "K-Ken sir.." I replied shyly. "Don't be afraid, my name is Dom and i will show you the other Lioness" He said. I quitely nodded and walks with him.

Me and Dom arrived in the den which contains the lioness, they start standing up and goes toward Dom. "Ken, i want you to meet Mia, Kala and Sarah" He introduced. I took a notice to see their appearance

Dom..the male Lion had a dark red mane and his fur is yellow, Mia fur is dark yellow, and Kala and Sarah fur is bright yellow. I noticed that they have a Eye Color which is unusual and noticed that
Dom and Mia eye color is red and Kala and Sarah eye color is Bright blue.

"Nice to meet you..." I replied still a bit shy. "I-im Ken.." I introduced my self. A while later, we got along and in doing so. I know their personalities

Dom is talkative and a bit strict, Mia is kind and a bit playful, Kala is very patience and Sarah keep losing temper, but not that much. "Hey guys...do you all know where the water is?" I asked. "Sure, it's over there" Kala said pointing at the water. I walked there and noticed my appearance. Golden fur, Blue eye and....Red tuft/mane? I then decided to take a drink.. After a while drinking, i decided to check on the visitors to maybe get a coincidence to meet my friends..or possibly my parents.

I looked for a while until i notice a familiar face, it's my Mom and Dad, they also brings some papers stating that I'm missing, i just lowered my head in sadness, i looked up again and sees some Kids staring at me. i pounced at the window to see how they react and as i expected, Scared. I smiled a bit and walks toward the den to sleep...
