4: Can't get her out of my mind

Marcus POV

It was the next morning and i couldn't concentrate Catarina was all i could think about. Her eyes her smile her voice her everything. I wanted her all to myself and I wanted her to be mine . But was it too soon?

It was half 7 and i had to pick her up at  8 so i took a shower and got dressed and still i couldnt stop thinking about her. I made the decision to ask hee to be mine today and to take her somewhere special but out of the public eye. I didnt want her to get too overwhelmed too quickly.

I drove to her house and textedher that i was waiting outside.
The second she walked out her door she looked stunning. I couldn't  believe that she was mine well hopefully mine.

Third person POV

Catarina got into the car and kissed Marcus on the cheek as a gesture to say hi.
"Are you ready" Marcus asked
"Yeah. But where are we going" Catarina said looking out the window as Marcus drove into the main road.
"Somewhere special babe" he said placing his hand on her thigh.
Catarina automatically felt turned on by that small gesture and Marcus knew that.

Marcus stopped by the grocery store after a while.
"So is this the special place?" Catarina said looking at Marcus.
"No silly we're just here to get some drinks and snacks." Marcus chuckled.
"Oh ao where are we going!?" Catarina whined placing her head on his shoulder
"Ok ok because youre being all cute im taking you out on a drive so we can chat and i can spend time with you then maybe take you back to mine?" He said kissing her forehead.
"Sounds perfect" she said letting him go so he couldget into the store.
After about 10 mins Marcus came back with a bag of snack and some a coffee for himself and a vanilla milkshake for Catarina.

They drove through the Manchester countryside just talking about anything and everything. They listened to music and just enjoyed to scenery. Catarina felt that this was the perfect date she admired Marcus' sensitive side. His thoughtfulness and she appreciated that. She say the non footballer side of him which she had definitely fallen in love with.

On their way back Catarina fell asleep  leaning gently on Marcus' shoulder. He did mind in fact he loved the idea of how comfortable she had gotten around him. He knew he was making the right decision by asking her to be his girlfriend later that evening.

When they got to Marcus place tgey cuddled and watched old movies.
"Can we talk real quick?" Marcus asked looking at Catarina.
"Yeah sure what's up hun?" She said seeming nervous.
"I was just wondering if maybe , if its not too early, would you like to be my girlfriend?" He said shyly looking at the edge of the coffee table.
"Oh my word of course i will" she said with a smile on her face.
Marcus placed his hands on her hips and gently planted a kiss on her lips.
With this Catarina deepened the kiss making Marcus pull her into his chest tightly holding her at her waist.
"Stay" he mumbled breaking away from the kiss.
"Ok" said staringinto his dark brown eyes.
The night went on and the two couldnt get their hands off eachother.
They got ready for bed Catarina wore one of Marcus shirts to bed and was on her phone while he took a shower.
He came out of the bathroom in just his towel and Catarina couldnt help but stare. Marcus noticed her staring and made his way to her.
"Nope" she said pushing at his chest as she knew what he had in mind "get dressed" she continued.
The two once more chatted and fooled around before Catarina drifted to sleep leaving Marcus longing for her.
Eventually Marcus fell asleep not letting Catarina out of his arms.
