Louis and Harry sat side by side and seized the pleasures of silence. The long slim ring-bearing fingers of the tall man messed with the soft foxy hair. They stared at the TV, and didn't really care that the sound was off. Other than Louis' occasional faint giggles, nothing had the heart to be heard. But the picturesque moment, both of them wanted to snapshot in their minds, was over like a peaceful dream. The metal knob twisted violently, and the door was swung wide open. A young brunette a back pack hanging from his shoulder, ran in and put his laptop on the kitchen counter.

- Woah, why so excited, Payno? - Louis chuckled and sat up a bit.

Liam quickly took a green hoodie out of his backpack and started putting it on.

- Is Lupfr dy. - he informed, his voice muffled against the warm material.

Both Harry and Louis shook their heads and giggled at how childish the boy looked. He turned and twisted around his hoodie to find the right holes. Maybe if his body was one of a four-year-old, it would match better with his clumsy actions.

- What, what, what? - Louis asked, copying Liam's tone.

Liam finally found his way out of the collar and started struggling with the sleeves.

- I said it's Lucifer day! - he exclaimed excitedly.

Louis raised an eyebrow and switched on his phone. November 7. Yeah, he remembered it right. Nothing was wrong with his sense of time. He sighed and look up at the lad from where he was sitting on the couch.

- Li, you can't celebrate Halloween twice, just because you want more candies and chocolate. It will ruin your teeth, love. - he told him gently, knowing how much Liam enjoyed sweets.

But Liam stared at him like he was crazy, and then switched his gaze to Harry, who was trying hard not to burst out laughing. Louis looked up at Harry and frowned, wanting to understand what was so funny.

- Lou, he means it's his "Lucifer" reading day. He goes to the library down the street and reads his favorite stories written by Lucifer. He does it every Thursday and Sunday, haven't you noticed? - Harry explained, while Liam straightened his hoodie and took his wallet in a hurry.

Louis let out a long understanding hum and watched Liam walking out of the house. Once the door was closed, the two lads were back to being drunk by each other's scents. Harry's large hand moved up along Louis' thigh and continued its way to his sides and up until it cupped his neck. Louis held Harry's hand in his own smaller one and rested their foreheads together. Harry's other hand pushed Louis closer to himself by his hip and he leaned down slowly and tenderly.

- It was empty! - they heard Liam opening the door and running to his room to take some money.

Knowing that he would be out in a few seconds, the two lads slightly pulled away, but still stayed glued to each other. They didn't look away from each other's lips and smiled in pure happiness when Liam's hurried steps were heard. He quickly told them "love you, guys." and ran away. The lads didn't even get the chance to answer back, as the door was closed again. Harry smirked and tightened his grip lustfully.

- So, where were we? - he chuckled, his voice deep and seducing.

Louis grinned and pushed himself up by his knees, reaching Harry's lips and pressing his own to the corner of the taller man's mouth. Harry turned his head and attached their lips properly, his hand grasping Louis' sharp cheekbone to keep him in his place. His breathing rushed up and he closed his eyes in pleasure and...

- Forgot my phone. - Liam groaned and ran to his backpack.

Harry huffed and leaned limply on the cushion. Louis, on the other hand, started giggling. This time they managed to voice their 'we love you' back before Liam would disappear, too caught up with his library.

Harry rolled his head to Louis dramatically and whispered "come here." Louis looked at him innocently, as if he didn't understand what was going on, even as if Harry was a total stranger. But when Harry cut the act short by laughing at his expression, he moved close and brushed some hair away from the man's forehead. He leaned forward and pecked him teasingly, their lips touching for a ghosty second. Harry cupped both his cheeks and...

- IT'S RAINING! - Liam whined and ran right back to his room to take a jacket and an umbrella.

And that was when Harry didn't feel like laughing anymore, unlike Louis, who always had unlimited patience for the younger boy. Harry stood up and waited near the couch. When Liam ran downstairs trying to zip his jacket, he walked right in front of him and softly slapped his hands away, zipping it up to the very end for him and putting the hood over his head. Liam looked at him in shock, not comprehending why Harry did it, if he was more than capable of zipping his own jacket himself. But before he could ask anything, Harry grabbed both his biceps and slightly lifted him off the ground, walking to the front door and out of the house. He put Liam down once they were outside and brushed the boy's hair that have fallen on his eyes because of the hood.

- There you go. You've got money, your phone, your umbrella, a jacket. And if you need anything, just call, Liam. Like an hour later. - he said in an overly fake and stressed friendly tone, just wanting to go back and enjoy his time with Louis.

With that Liam nodded and finally walked, almost ran, to the library, and Harry stepped inside again.

- And NOW we're alone. - he smirked and locked the door.
