Jamie's POV
Where am I? I am in a dark room that has a small night light. There was a bright flash of lightning and I saw two beds in the room. One of them was much smaller than the other. As the power turned off the room went pitch black and I heard a cry. "Ivy! I'm scared!" I heard movement from the bigger bed. An older, more feminine voice says," I wish I could turn the lights back on Jamie but I can't." I heard shuffling and she said," I found a candle now all I need is something to light it." The girl snapped her fingers trying to think of where the lighter was. Jamie saw a small flame on the end of the girls finger. "Sissy! Light on your finger!" The younger one said. "What?" She looked at her hand and gasped looking scared.
*3rd POV*
She lit the candle and soon the younger sibling soon began sleeping. The girl looked at her hand horrified and looked at a newspaper clipping. She went to a closet and grabbed a backpack. She started shoving things in there. While she was doing that Jamie went over to the newspaper clipping and saw 'Apartment complex burns: several injured'. Jamie heard the zipper on the backpack and he looked up. The girl put her backpack over her shoulder. She went over to the smaller bed and said," Sorry Jamie. I'm too dangerous to be around while you grow. I love you." She bent down and kissed his forehead. She walked over to the window and climbed down the tree.
