"Jimmy I'm telling ya shut the hell up. You of all people have no right to say anything about my kids!" My mom exclaimed.

"Christina! I swear to god if you don't get you fucking ass out of here...." My Uncle Jim growled back as he picked a steel rod out of the ground.

"Oh... Isn't this comical the big bad ass Jimmy needs a weapon to take on sister. What fucking riot!" My mom prodded at his ego. My mom was never one to know when to quit. Especially when she was pissed. It's like her common sense shut down, and her mouth went on auto-pilot. My mom's mouth on auto-pilot was never a good thing. She probably could have made Ghandi lose his temper. She wouldn't back down and would keep at my Uncle Jim till he swung at her with that rod. Taking the hint Mike and I ran between my mom and our Uncle. Mike tried getting mom to his car while I did a little dance with Uncle Jim to keep at bay. He stepped left. I stepped left. He stepped right. I stepped right.

"Rie." He drawled out between clenched teeth.

   "Yes?" I questioned feigning innocence.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way." He was making sure I understood apparently to get out of his way. Wasn't going to happen though.

"You, see Uncle Jim that's where we have a problem. I can't exactly let you go down there with that steel/ iron or whatever kind of metal rod that is to threaten my mom. It's really not all to kosher with me." So, I inherited some of my mom's mouth. Uncle Jim stepped forward puffing out his chest. My best bet was he was trying to intimidate me. Needless to say I really wasn't all to scared. I knew my Uncle wouldn't lay a hand on me. Not just because Pop and Mike would skin him alive for it. My Uncle was actually one of the ones who cared about me. It would eat away at him like acid creeping through his veins. He glared down at me realizing I wasn't going to budge. I just smirked back taking the rod out of his hand and throwing it back into front yard. Pop will yell later about someone messing with it while drinking downstairs at the bar with the guys from next door and Uncle Jim. I could see Uncle Jim now with his hands in the air saying "Dad I swear I don't know what happened to it." Knowing Uncle Jim was calmer I turned to see Mike having his own issues.

Mom and Aunt Dawn were now nose to nose screaming at each other. What the hell happened now? Not that it took much to set those two off on each other. They always fight and no one really knows why. I asked around too. Never getting a straight answer and always different stories from everyone. So I just came to except growing up that my mom and Aunt was mortal enemies. They could be civil for my Grandparents sake, but when they're nowhere to be found let the vicious attacks begin. My Aunt Dawn doesn't play fair either. She is the most conniving, sneaky, under handed person I've met. I've had my own personal experiences with my Aunt as a child to know just to not care and ignore. Although I understand my mom's frustration at the moment while she's walking away and my tailing right behind her poking and prodding. Trying to get my mom to swing. Well... she got my mom to finally do it as she was stomping her way past me. She yanked my mom's hair. Uncle Jim and I stood there dumb founded. My Grandma was somehow now on the ground. Where the hell did she come? No clue she's like a Granny ninja popping in out when you least expect it and knows everything.

"Mom!" My mom's face held a look of horror and hurt. She just shoved my Grandma. "I'm so sorry! I... I was just.... I mean Dawn grabbed my hair. I'm so sorry!" I felt bad for my mom she would never intentionally lay a hand on my grandmother. Now watching my mom panic about what she had done I couldn't help but be angry and upset for at the same time. Knowing my Grandma she saw my Aunt and decided to separate it before it got too bad. She's never had to see my mom and Aunt Dawn go at each other before and I doubt she was going to let them now.

"Look what you've done Chris!" my Aunt shrieked. "Are you alright mom? I told she was like this, that she doesn't care." She smirked at my mom
