Ayden POV:

I was woken up by Pidge shaking my shoulder violently. I groaned and sat up.

"What is it Pidge?"

He looks at me with pleading eyes. I sigh deeply, already knowing what he wants.
"Let me get dressed and then we'll go."

He smiles and waits outside my door. I get up and put on a pair of skin tight jeans with a black tank top on and a flannel wrapped around my waist. Of course I didn't forget my lucky necklace. I grabbed my bookbag and my phone while heading out of my room. Pidge smiled and dragged me up to the roof to listen to the alien activity. I sat next to him and listened to my own music before Lance scared Pidge silly. I looked back at him with an unamused face and he just smirks.

"Still a party pooper I see."

Hunk walks up behind him and speaks.
"Lance be nice. Ayden's your co-pilot. You have to be around him all the time so don't get on his bad side."

Lance just rolls his eyes.
"I'm aware Hunk. Don't balme me for stating the obvious, though."

I scoffed and slapped Lance's arm before a voice came over the loudspeakers.

"All students remain inside of the Garrison at all times from here on out."

That's when we see something fall from the sky. Pidge takes out a set of binoculars and tries to get a closer look.

"It's Shiro!! But where's the rest of the crew?"

Lance steals the binoculars just in time to see a guy with a mask on and riding in on a vehicle. He shoves the binoculars back at Pidge and grits his teeth.
"That's Keith! I'd recognize that mullet anywhere! And he is not going to beat me again."

We follow Lance as he runs all the way to the crash sight. When we enter I see a pale tall guy with dark hair and a mullet staring at us. Lance sees him and starts blabbing about stupid stuff while they both carry Shiro out to Keith's shuttle. We all hop on and I was left without a seat. Keith looked at me and grabbed my arm, pulling me to sit on his lap. I was facing towards him and his arms were at both of my sides as he drove off. I kept a serious face until he drove off of the cliff. I squeaked quietly and instinctively tightened my grip around Keith's shoulders and burried my face into the crook of his neck. I heard him chuckle and the others scream. When I looked up again I saw Lance glarring holes in the back of Keith's skull.

Once we were all at Keith's place, everyone took Shiro inside while I stayed outside watching Lance talk to Keith. He was standing while looking out onto the horizon. Lance walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"What's troubling you?"

He glances over at Lance and sighs.
"I look up to Shiro more than anyone knows. He's like my older brother. It's weird having back someone you already lost once."

I walked over to the other males and cleared my throat.
"Time to eat. Hunk made snacks."

The two looked at me for a minute beofre raising their eyebrows.

"Oh come on."
I grabbed their hands and pulled them towards the small house.
"I promise it's good."
