°Eliza POV°
After saying goodbye to madelyne, I ran to school as the sun set.I see a ship, about the size of a classroom, outside the school."The sky looks like cotton candy!" Laura points above "better say goodbye to it, up in space, the galaxies might look pretty, but it will never look like this" Aidan points out, laura frown and waves goodbye to the sky."Is everyone here?" Everyone nods "let's go in then" Aidan waves his hand to the door and it opens up, revealing a huge interior."Woah..." Laura spins around to admire the ship but gets dozzy and falls, Aidan catches her of course. "Your rooms, unlike in your dorms, won't need a magic key to open.Just place your hand on the scanner next to the door." "Cool thats great and all but, why do we have to go to earth?You havent really given us a briefing about this." Matt pulls out a flower out of his bag "To retrieve an artifact- did you bring a flower?" "yes, get over it and continue" matt places it on a table "This artifact is also known as , the arcana" everyone in the room widen their eyes "What's the arcana" I honestly have no idea what this is. "You don't know what it is?It's the most powerful magical artifact we know of.It was protected by the sun atts but, we all know how that went.I thought Headmistress Ingrid had it?" Laura explains "wait what happened to the sun att-" Aidan completely ignores my question "It was in my mother's possesion but, thr dark atts stole it and tossed in to earth" Aidan looks at toph "Hey why look at me?I wasn't a part of the war.." "what wa-" aidan cuts me off, once again "Yes, but you are related to some of the most powerful dark atts out there" "Not genetically!" "You're still a powerful dark att!" "GUYS!" My eyes flashed purple once again."CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER ME?!" My eyes fade oout, my vision gets blurred and i get dizzy. "Sorry, wait are you okay?" Toph gets ready to cast a healing spell. "Yeah, im good." I rub my eyes and walk off "you don't need to answer my questions." I walk down the hall labeled 'rooms' and see my name on a door.I followed the instructions aidan gave about the hand scanning thing and enter my room. It's plain, just a bed, one table next to it and a closet.Matt and i had similar ideas of bringing plants on board but I just decides on my way home when i saw a shiny flower.I think about me lashing out earlier and my hands feel numb and cold. I stepped back out and saw a few worried faces."Oh, hey guys! Why are you all so gloomy?" I sit down "Well, you know how we're in space" "yeah.." "So we thought about it and i think being so far away from the sun might do a number on you." "Ok." "You're not scared you might not be able to do magic?" "Yeah whatever." They looked at me with confusion."Hey, where's Aidan?" "Piloting the ship, we have our own, smaller ships on board though" "How are we supposed to know how to fly a ship?" I ask "We all learnt in middle school." "Well i didn't go to your middle school, i think." "What do you mean you think?" "uhhhhhh... bye!" I try to teleport away but land on the ground. "Dammit." " you're going to explain yourself child" "we're the same age laura" "shhhshshhshshsh child." "Okay damn, chill" I told them about the whole 'not knowing who the hell am i' thing and they kinda shrugged it off "that explains alot" Matt says "yeah" the other three say in agreement. "Wow, i knew you would react much but, yeah i dont know what i expected." "So..why do we need our own smaller ships?" After my question, a ringtone was heard and we all thought it was matt's phone but it was an announcement kinda thing or like a speaker?I'm not sure "Eliza i hear everything that happens here and to answer your question, some rogue dark atts kinda sorta created an evil empire set to conquer planets so you need to fight them if they happen to come by." "Wait, Why arent we helping the other planets?" Laura asks "because we're here to get the arcana not save a bunch of people. "but-" "if we come across a planet in trouble, we can help them if you really want t-" just then, something hit the ship."They're here."
