A man looked out to the waters as the unidentified flying object landed in the town nearby. Next to him, his wife stood, petting the head of their youngest daughter. The wife whispered softly, promising to her dearest daughters, 5 and 9 respectively, that their life was about to get better.
As the inky creatures slowly took the family, the young raven haired girl looked back at her home, knowing that something big was happening, even if she didn't know what.
