First day back and I was irritated. The campus looked as if it was filled to capacity as I waited in the line at the registration table. If the lady at the table would stop yapping, I would've been able to meet up with my roommates for lunch. I finally got to the front and I told her my last name, she handed me my class schedule and I went abou my business.

I saw one freshmen literally jumping out of her clothes fascinated at the dorm hall. To think I was her a year ago. I didn't like the dorms so when I got enough money saved up, I leased a five bedroom townhouse across the street from the campus. My father and brothers thought it was a bad idea but they couldn't stop me. They are all the way in New York while I'm down here in little ole' Atlanta. They definitely didn't approve of me coming down here by myself but I got a scholarship and I couldn't let it go to waste.

Since I got my schedule, I decided to go to starbucks for a caramel mocha iced frappe. I scrolled down my feed on instagram liking pictures of friends and funny posts in general. The shit I saw on my timeline was unbelievable. I was caught off guard when I felt something hard push past me making me fall on my ass.

"Fuck." I whined rubbing my now sore ass.

"My bad I didn't even see you there ma." The guy said sticking out his hand.

I didn't even realize how fine he was until he helped me. He had smooth caramel skin and stood 6'4. He licked his thick, pink lips which showcased his dimples and his straight white teeth. Damn, this boy was more than fine. He was sexy. I cleared my throat as he stared at me confused.

"It's cool just watch where you going from now on." I picked my phone up off the ground.

"I will." He smiled and I rolled my eyes.

I walked away without another word. Yeah, he was absolutely delicious looking. But, I vowed no boys this year. They were a distraction and I didn't need those. Once I made it to starbucks, I got my drink then headed to my Aunt Gia's house. She moved to Georgia when I moved down here for college to help me out. My mother was absent throughout my entire life which is the reason I'm so close with my Aunt Gia. She became the mother figure my brothers and I needed. I loved her for stepping up to the plate because she didn't have to and it made admire her so much more.

I pulled in the driveway noticing a black Mercedes Benz parked besides her Acura. I wondered who was here as I got out the car and unlocked the front door.

"Gia?" I called out.

Moments later, I heard small footsteps upstairs that traveled to the living room before Marley came charging at me like a bull. Her short legs could only take her so far. I swung her up in the air and attacked her with many kisses. My heart swelled as I held onto my piece of sanity.
