The ride back to the pack house was quiet the guys on high alert with Violet sitting in the back blindfolded. I can smell the fear and the anxiety coming from her. Uriel keeps looking back at her and back at me.

"Do we really think this is a good idea?" Uriel says.

"I mean we all started somewhere. I was rejected by my mate and then brought into a new pack and they believed in me. Granted I didn't have it as hard as she does but it's almost the same." I try to sound confident but really I don't know if it's a good idea at all I know is that I need Travis in front of me so I can end it.

"I trust you Addy."

Uriel looks away then back at the road as it widens and reveals the large pack house sitting in the field. Murphy was informed of the situation before we even left. Aspen wasn't too happy with my choice but held his tongue when he realized I wasn't going to back down.

"Murphy is going to want to speak with her."

"I am aware but he is going to shove it until she is cleaned up and has a meal."

Uriel nods and parks the car around back in the loading bay. Gray, Karson and Colt help me get Violet out of the van and I pull the blindfold off.

"Sorry but just in case I can't have you knowing where we are even if Travis does know."

"So what your telling me worse come to worse so I can't find my way out?"

No one speaks confirming the answer she already knows. Violet doesn't say anything she just nods and follows me as I walk towards the house. Colt breaks off first and joins the other guys in the game room. Violet watches each interaction with wide eyes.

"You can have this Violet. The friendship and the love of a family. Each person here would die for each other no questions asked. I would die for anyone here no matter the wrong doings against me." I say. Olivia looks at me and looks back down at her book.

"I can see that and it is something I want but I think I'm more scared of the rejection." Violet says.

I nod in understanding as it wasn't too long ago that I was still nervous about what everyone would think of me when they found out how I got the name Kiss Of Death. As we move through the house she scans the rooms looking for anyone to jump out and hurt her.

"No one here is going to hurt you. They don't want to have to go through me." She nods but still she stays on high alert and I can't blame her. When Olivia come back most people wanted to rip her head off even though she was no threat to anyone in the room. I stop outside my room and open the door she goes in and stares at me.

"The shower is through the doors right there you are more then welcome to it. I am going to get some clothes out of the closet so we can get you cleaned up. The alpha of this pack wants to speak with you, but that is after you are cleaned up and have eaten. Uriel should be bringing something up here for you to eat."

She nods and goes into the bathroom. I grab jeans and a sweatshirt hoping they will fit she is about the same build as me. So I know we shouldn't have a problem in that department but there are still some reservations about the fit. I sit on my bed and my phone dings. I open the screen and Aspens face flashes across the screen. I don't open it and I know that I will not hear the end of it when he sees me, but at this moment I don't want to argue. Our moments are to precious to be arguing every time I turn around. Travis wants the packs to crumble and he is using the pack as a tool against each other.

" I'm done." Violet peaks her head around the door and I hand her the stack of clothes and she shuts the door and changes.

"How do you feel.?"

"Like I'm human and not an animal on the side of the road. Thank you for that." I nod and she leans against the wall. There is a knock on the door and Uriel comes in with a plate of food.

"Murphy is getting impatient." Uriel hands her the food and lingers for a moment but doesn't say anything. He drags his gaze from violet and looks at me.

" Murphy can kiss my ass right now she is eating and then he can talk to her. I don't want to hear it from him. I am tired and grouchy."  Uriel laughs and nods.

"I wouldn't mess with you." He laughs. Violet sets the plate down on the table.

There is nothing on the plate. She looks kind of embarrassed.

"It's been a minute since the last time I ate. Travis says I'm the weakest link so I don't get to eat like the others."

I take a look at her and she is scrawny. Her cheeks sunken in and her eyes look like I am staring death in the face. I shake my head and I can see the potential in her. She has a fire that is not easily put out and a will to live and fight for the life she has been given.

"Well I see more then what is on the outside and I will help you harness the fight and the anger you have pushed way down deep. We will make you one of the fiercest warriors we have in this pack and when the time comes all will tremble before you."

She looks up at me with wide eyes as Uriel steps back into the room with Murphy.

"You wouldn't bring her to me so I came to you." Murphy looks at her and I see his eyes soften. "Let's talk."
