I stayed at Uncle William's house until dawn came and I hurried home, making up some good excuses to tell my mother. Well, if I tell my mother the truth she won't believe me. She would say that I'm lying to have entertainment or that my imagination is running too wild.

Anyways, I am never going to the haunted apartment ever again. Little did I know that I WILL be going back...

Days passed and soon the first day of school came. I went to the new school, Einstein Elementary School, in hope of making new friends.

"Ringggg...." The first bell rang. My timetable says it's time for English class. I walked to homeroom to have my English lessons.

I went into homeroom and looked around. Then I plopped down my bag in a seat next to a girl with straight, blonde hair. She seems friendly.

Let me explain, in lower block, we sit in a circle in homeroom, but it's different in upper block. We are becoming mature. That's what my previous teacher said.

"Hello, class. My name is Miss Preztel. The person seating next to you will be your study buddy. Okay? Study buddies are people who help you when you meet trouble in your work," Miss Preztel told us.

I looked at the person next to me. The girl with straight, blonde hair. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

This is gonna be a good year.
