Y/n's POV
I hold into my head, coming into consciousness, I look around me at my surroundings to find out what happened to make me pass out. I see that i'm in a bedroom, a fairly plain bedroom, and Demi sitting just beside my feet. I sit up, feeling dizzy and laying back down.
"Hey, hey, be careful there," Demi says, getting off the bed and bending down on my side, her face level with mine.
"W-what happened?" I ask her, wondering how i got i her bedroom. Last think i remember is pulling into her drivewey.
"We were walking up the stairs and a step happened to be wet and slippery. You slipped and fell, hitting your head and passing out," he explains and i understand, because that sounds exactly like something i would do.
"Do you think i have a concussion or anything?" I hear worry in my voice, but Demi is quick to shake her head.
"I dont think so. The accident wasn't that bad."
"Oh. Okay. Well what time is it?"
She pulls out her phone then tells me, "Eight. You were out for quite a while."
Eight. I need to get home.
I sit up again, this time ignoring the throbbing pain in my head, saying " I need to go Demi. My mom could be worried about me."
"I dont think it's safe enough for you to drive yet, Y/n." She tells me, standing up from her cruched position. "I dont want you to get hurt driving home."
"I'll be fine," I reply. "Like you said, it wasn't serious enough for me to have a concussion. It should be alright for me to drive home."
"No. You need to wait. Just in case."
I start to feel a bad vibe radiating off of Demi and i start to get uncomfortable. I need to get out of here. I need to get home. We have school tomorrow for goodness sake.
I start to peel myself off of the bed, hoping Demi would get the hint and move out of my way, but she doesn't. She stays put.
"Demi, seriously. I need to go home."
"You aren't leaving." She says and i scrunch my eyebrows up.
"Yes I am." I respond. When she still doesn't move, i push on her chest but she still doesn't budge. "Move. Please."
You aren't going anywhere." She tells me before pushing me back into the bed. I begin to have a mental breakdown, looking at all the seriousness of her face, but then i think this must be a joke. Demi is just pulling a prank on me.
It then occurs to me that maybe i trusted the wrong person. Maybe i shouldn't have decided to come here. Because i know for a fact that this girl is not playing a joke. She is for real. She is not going to let me leave.
