Chapter 2

I pulled Calum and Ali with me as I ran to the nearest four wheeled drive. It was deserted with the front door open and a bloody hand print on the window, as I can say, it was bloody handy that the car was left there. I silently start laughing while Calum gives me a 'are you crazy?' look. Ali was freaking out as she hates zombies, and now her worst nightmare just came true. People were still running down the street as zombies were jumping onto their backs like monkeys and sinking their teeth into the flesh. Ew they could have rabies, the people I mean. Jumping into the car I found that the keys were still in the ignition so I started the baby up. Calum silently sat in the passenger seat and Ali say in the back crying softly. I turned the car back on and drove away from the screams and the colour red. What movies don't tell you is that there is so much red. Thinking of a survival plan while dodging crazy people, like really who would be running in front of a car even in the zombie apocalypse?, gods.
Then I see it.
Walmart.
And next door a camping store.
*cue evil laughter*
This has to be my lucky day, but soon I will find out that it will be my last lucky day, maybe, hope not.
Parking into the parking lot I look at our surroundings. Not too bad, 12 people and 2 zombies. Oh what make that 11 people as a cashie gets eaten. I can hear the bang of a canon in my mind as I say "another tribute dead." "Shut up and let's get this over with, Sienna go and find good back-packs and other stuff to survive. Oh and weapons, try and find weapons. Ali and I will go and get food and Ali can go get stuff for health like " Calum chokes on the word as I bite back laughter at his scrunched up face "Tampons and deodorant. I will get panadol and stuff like that." I look up at him, which is not hard to do since I'm like 5,3 and he's 6,2. Yes I'm a midget but he's a giant. "You say 'stuff' too much." Quicker then I would've like he replies "and you're crazy." Wow like that's really mean, I'm not THAT crazy?, my mother had me tested.
Going over to the camping store I see that axes are on sale. I grab one along with 3 bags plus 3 sleeping bags. I go through the store getting things you would need.
Torches? Check.
Batteries for torches? Check.
Axe for Calum? Check.
Water bottles? Check.
Stuff to filter water from banks and rivers? Check.
Hot guy around my age holding a gun at me? Check. Wait what?!.
