I jumped.
Strong banging on my door startled me half to death.
"(Y/N)! COME OUT!" He yelled. The voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't make out who it was.
The doorknob began to rattle.
Whoever it was, they were coming in. Or at least wanted to.
I only had one idea. the window.
i tried to unlock it so i could slide it open, i was going to have to jump out.
It was stuck.
"What do I do? What do I do?..."
I thought to myself, trying as hard as i could to get the window to budge.
It was never going to work and i didn't have much time.
💡
"The wardrobe!
...it'll have to do."
-I told myself.
I slid open the wardrobe door slowly and carefully, without making noise.
I cramped myself in, ducking my head under the hanging shirts and-
My phone rang.
i could hear it from the floor, outside the wardrobe.
"ANSWER IT (Y/N)!" The voice yelled from my door.
He didn't seem angry, just loud to make sure I could hear him.
I slid open the door and walked out,
slowly approaching my ringing phone.
It was (y/bf/n).
I picked up the phone and was filled with a sudden burst of anger and slight confusion.
"What the hell is going on!?" I whispered sharply.
"Look baby," (y/bf/n) spoke quietly,
"I know you're scared but you need to come out of that room."
"But there's someon-"
"The guy at the door isn't gonna hurt you, you just need to come out. Please."
As i hung up the phone, my heart started racing.
I did as he said and un-barricaded the door one step at a time.
Speaking of steps, I was down to the last one.
The barricade was gone and now all I needed to do was unlock the door.
Not that big of a deal, right? Wrong.
In the moment, I was terrified. Unsure.
I quickly built up the courage to do it, considering (y/bf/n) obviously knew what was happening.
I opened the door hesitantly, only to find
no one there.
I walked to the back door, expecting to still see people.
No one there.
The sun was now starting to come up and the sky was a bit brighter.
I then heard footsteps approaching me.
Frightened, I turned and walked back to my room but I was stopped by two strong hands around my waist.
I screamed, and he let go. But I couldn't run.
I just.. froze.
When (y/bf/n) walked around to the front of me, I let out a sigh of relief.
His lips pressed gently against my forehead as he pulled me into his chest.
I finally felt safe in his arms.
He stepped away, took my hand and lead me outside. (Into the backyard.)
There, stood 6 of his friends packing up a trailer and sneaking it back through the gate.
There were balloons, hearts, bears and huge presents everywhere.
"Happy Valentine's Day, baby."
(Y/bf/n) whispered.
