Jason expressed his feelings to Jane

Hey guys . Since Halloween is this Thursday I figured I'd write a Halloween special. This will be a lot longer than the rest of the story because its Halloween.

Chapter 8 part 1

After Jason and Cayde had finished the base it was just about time for Halloween and this time Jason could actually celebrate it with some friends. Maybe even Jane, he thought about it and smiled as he went to the first floor of his hideout and takes his sleek all black 79' nova and drives to the school wondering what they were going to do for Halloween.

Jane was in her room brushing her hair thinking about how she had kissed Jason six months ago and she sighs as she hasn't seen or heard from him since. Jane was wearing her usual clothes until she heard a loud engine roar as did everyone else.

They had all gathered in front of the school as Ben and Mal had pushed through the lot of them with Jane, Jay, Evie and Carlos. They look in Awe as they watch as Jason gets out of the car  and Jason high fives them with a big grin on his face.

"Where have you been Jason?" Jay asked his brother. Jason sighs and begins to think about telling them the truth about what he's been up to. "I've was building a base of operations since I'm going to be staying here a while, I thought I'd get settled in" Jason said honestly before looking at Jane "So guys its Halloween any plans?" Jason asked out of curiosity.

The others thought for a moment before sighing and shaking their heads. "What about a Halloween costume party" Doug son of Dopey said. Ben smirked at the idea "I like that idea honestly but we don't have the funding for it" Ben said with a frown then he suddenly looked at Jason for hope and Jason sighs before popping the trunk of his car and pulling out a duffel bag with money in it and hands Ben five thousand dollars which was more than enough.

"Um...This more than enough money but may I ask where did you acquire such money?" Ben said as he raised an eyebrow. Jason chuckles at the response. "Somethings Ben....are better left unsaid for your protection I hope you never make my list" Jason says as he puts his bag back in his trunk and parks his car in the parking lot. Jason goes back to his room to shower and put on a change of clothes.

Jane had decided to talk to Jason about that kiss on the cheek she had given him so she was standing outside his room and knocked but the door was actually cracked up open so when she knocked it open and she saw Jason's back that was covered in scars and bullet holes. Her eyes widened "Oh my God!!!" She almost yelled and Jason turned around quickly and looked at her gently frowning at what she said. "You shouldn't have seen that Jane" Jason says as he puts his shirt on and lights a cigarette.

Jane had felt a little uneasy about what she was going to say. "Jason...we need for talk about the kiss" Jane said as she looks at him "I actually really like you and when you left I thought you didn't feel the same way." Jane looks down.

Jason just looks at her
and sighs "I....actually feel the same way Jane" Jason said as he put on his iconic jacket. "So when is the party?" Jason asks her. Jane was shocked at what he just said and she hugged him making him fall on the bed and she kisses him gently.

Jason looked at her shocked but kisses her back. "The party is at 5pm to 10 pm Halloween day" Jane said.
