Chapter 2 'Snaps and Streams.'

JC's POV

I woke up to a Discord message on my phone from Ezra. After my eyes adjusted to the seemingly blinding light of my phone I was able to answer him.

'Who was that person you were talking to yesterday? Alina saw you both in the public call.'

I simply answered.

'A friend. Why?'

'No reason. We just didn't know who they were.'

'Ok.'

I then saw him go offline.

Well, that was weird...

Y/N's POV

I slowly opened my eyes as I started to wake up. I saw a message from Discord on my phone and opened it immediately seeing as it was from JC since he told me his name last night.

'Do you stream on Twitch? one of my friends thought they recognized you.'

'Yes I do actually, my twitch username is (T/N)' (Twitch name)

My heart pretty much jumped from excitement. Maybe he does know who I am.

'Oh yeah, I recognize you! I knew you sounded familiar!'

My smile instantly grew seeing the message. I don't know why I was so giddy about him. Maybe it was because he was such a nice person and you can't find a lot of nice people nowadays. Or maybe it's because we have so much in common and I'd hate to lose another potential friend...

I snapped out of my thoughts after seeing a Twitch notification.

'JCtheCaster has followed you!'

I haven't had a rush of euphoria like this in a long time.

JC's POV

I decided to stream later that day. For now, I'd just try to wake myself up. I took my phone with me before I walked downstairs into my kitchen. I looked through a pantry and saw something i thought i ran out of long ago, hot chocolate packets!

"Aww, yes!"

I called out in excitement as I grabbed a packet to make for myself. It was even the ones that came with tiny marshmallows.

I was quickly drawn back to my phone from a message from Y/N.

'Hey, JC do you have snap?'

It was kind of a weird question but I thought nothing of it.

'Yeah, I do it's 'jcthecaster'.'

'Oh ok. Thanks.'

'No problem, homie. :)'

I started up the usual Minecraft stream. As I watched everyone type in chat I waited to see Y/N's name in chat. Soon I saw them send 'PP' in chat. I chuckled at thee message.

"Fuckin' PP."

I saw random people type in chat and read a few messages out loud.

"I don't know, why does your pp hurt, Jtcoded?"

I laughed at my response to the comment and continued.

After I wrapped up the stream I messaged Y/N on Snapchat, hoping they would reply to me. Soon I got a message from them and instantly looked at the message. We continued to talk until we had to go.

Later that night we sent snaps to each other over and over again.

Soon when they said they were going to go to sleep I simply replied with.

'Goodnight, Homie :)'
