For those who did not read the description, Nightmare and Dream ARE NOT related in this book. So, don't report me about them being related for this ship because they're not related in this book. //

———————————————————————

Dream had always been a curious prince that loved to befriend many people. He always lived alone though and had no family or any living relatives. It got quite lonely living alone, but he didn't mind it. Everyone always looked up to him for guidance because everyone knew they could trust Dream to help them and keep them safe. He, however, knew he needed to get married one day but he feared the day he would have to get married. He honestly feared getting married. What if he wouldn't be a good enough queen or king for whomever he would have to marry? If he ended up being someone's queen, would he be good enough to have a child with the person? Would he be a good enough mother? There were so many things he worried about. He sighed as he was sitting on his throne, bored since there wasn't much to do today. He was slightly falling asleep when suddenly, he saw his friend and also servant, Ink, come into his throne room. He looks at Ink. "Hello, Ink. Did you need something?"

Ink looked at Dream, having a message for Dream from a different kingdom. He looks to the side a bit. "I have a message for you from another kingdom." Dream looks at him. "Care to tell me what the message is?" Ink nods. "The prince of the Dark kingdom requests to meet you in person." This surprised Dream a bit. He's heard that the prince of the Dark kingdom was believed to be a ruthless prince. Why would he want to meet Dream of all people in person? Dream had a surprised expression on his face. "Did he specify why he wishes to meet me?" Ink sighed and shook his head no. "Sadly, no. He refused to give me any specific details other than the fact he wants to meet you in person at dusk tonight." Dream froze. The Dark prince wanted to meet him tonight?! That wouldn't be enough time to prepare for a royal meeting! Dream gulped a bit. "V-Very well. Tell him I accept his offer to meet him tonight at dusk." Ink then nodded and left to tell the prince of the Dark kingdom.

Dream got up and went to get ready to meet the Dark prince. Dusk would be in only two hours so, he had very little time to prepare. He went to his bedroom to choose an outfit suitable for a royal meeting like this. But as he got prepared, he couldn't help but wonder what the Dark prince wanted from him. He didn't even know the Dark prince's name! By the time he was fully prepared, he only had five minutes to spare. He then realized he forgot to ask Ink where the meeting place would be. He knew Ink was back in the castle, so he rushed over to Ink. "Ink, where's the meeting spot supposed to be??" Ink thought for a moment, trying to remember. His memory was not in his favor today. He shrugged a bit, not remembering where the Dark prince requested to meet Dream. "I can't remember, sorry."

Dream was panicked now. He was going to be late! He started teleporting to any spots that could be worthy of being a meeting place, frantically trying to find where the Dark prince would be waiting for him. But after half an hour of searching, he found where the Dark prince was waiting for him. He just really hoped the Dark prince wouldn't be too mad that he was late.
