"Why didnt you tell me!"

 So, do you wanna ride?" Rich motioned to the exit.

Well, look at that. Your eyes scanned over there face as The Squip leaned close to your shoulder.

"Yes"

"Yes!.... wait I was gonna meet up with Michael and Jeremy..." Rubbing your neck you glanced away from the two. Jake pouted lightly.

"oh..."

"(y/n), if this is going to work, you need to do as I instruct."

Rich bit his lip as he tapped on Jake's shoulder. He whispered something before they both smirked. Jake leaned closer.

"Do you wanna ride~ Do you wanna ride~ Do you wanna ride, wanna go farrrrrrr~" Jake sang smoothly into your ear. You choked as you stared at him shocked.

Rich stepped up with a look of confidence and conviction on his face.

"Do you wanna get, do you wanna get, do you wanna get inside my mother's carrrrr~" He winked and you couldn't help but giggle. Squip glitched slightly as he observed you.

"Drive it on home, Don't ya say no (N/n) ((Nickname)), can you be coerced? Uh, huh" Jake and rich walked around you as Rich hummed.

"Be home in a snatch, only one catch, we gotta stop for froz-"

"BURGERS AND ICE CREAM DUDE" Jack threw his hands in the air with a bright smile. Rich sent a glare at him.

"Bro we said frozen yogurt!"

"Uh yeah, I would love to hang out with you guys! We can decide on food once we get going." You stepped between the two with a nervous chuckle. Grasping both of there hands you tugged them outside of the store and towards the mall exit, you were nearly home free when a certain voice shouted out to you.

"(Y/n)?! Where are you going." Recoiling you looked back at Michael, he stood clutching a small container of white Pepsi with a helpless look on his face. Michael looked between you, Jake and Rich.

"I was gonna text you....um so like Rich and Ja-" The Squip cut you off.

"You have to lie, tell him you are meeting them to help tutor them." Flabergasted you stared at the tall black-haired man. He blinked back at you nonchalantly.

"Im helping tutor them, I forgot to tell you... I saw them in one of the stores and remembered I planned to meet up!" You slapped your forehead as Rich glanced up at you with a smirk. "Im sorry again Michael, you know how I am with schedules."

You fluttered your eyelashes at him as you tucked a small piece of hair behind your ear. The Squip nodded in approval before going behind you and pressing gently against your backbone. You pushed your chest out.

"Oh, it's ok, ill tell Jeremy." Michael blushed slightly as his eyes flickered between your chest and your face. You smiled brightly and giggled.

"Thanks, Micky! You're the best~" You kissed him on the cheek before turning and confidently strolling out the door with the other two in pursuit. Jake patted your shoulder with a grin.

"Dude that was amazing! NOW LET'S GET SOME BURGERSSSSSSSS" He fist-pumped the air as Rich rolled his eyes before smiling slightly. He seemed to stare at you almost in a new light as if maybe you weren't that bad after all.

((TIME SKIPO))

"Thanks again you guys, this was like super fun!" Jake smiled at you from the driver's seat, his fingers tapping against the wheel as rich leaned forward from the back.

"No problem man, you seem not to bad for a tall ass." Rich grabbed your head and rumpled your hair, you let out a loud chuckle as you play wrestled with them.

Jake pulled up to your small house, his eyes stared at the little white picket fencing where a lush garden was kept spotless and trim. The edging of the house was a rich pink and coordinated the roses flowering in the front rather perfectly.

"Do you garden? Or like does your mom?" He glanced over at you, your smile dropped and a look of forlorn replaced it.

"Oh no, it's just me and my siblings...My parents died when I was in freshman year, it's just been me and my older brother taking care of the younger ones." You gave a small sad smile as you started to get unbuckled. You looked over at them unsure.

"So um...do you guys wanna come in or something?" You seemed unsure, but your Squip wasn't anywhere to be seen.

Great purchase.

"Do you want us to? I don't have anything planned." Rich offered with a small smile on his face. Glancing over at jake you swallowed imperceptibly. He sighed.

"I have archery practice soon... I could drop you off and hit you up later tonight Rich?" Rich nodded as he got outside of the car, he pushed his hands in his jeans as you fumbled with your bag. You waved goodbye to jake before Rich shifted to you.

"So tall ass, what do you want to do?"

"Oh i-i-i was thinking we could-" You began to open the door before a little boy rushed at you. You lifted him swiftly as a girl also ran up. Rich stared at them confused.

"Audrey! Leave your brother alone!" You said sternly at the small six-year-old. She moped and ran off to the table. You both walked in, Rich standing behind you uncertain if he was imposing on something.

The house was surprisingly neat for a house with two kids in it, There were a few toys on the floor but could easily be avoided. It wasn't too big of a house either, the kitchen right next to the door with a modest dining area behind the front room, a staircase to his right going overhead and a small handle in the corner where the stairs for the basement was. You set the small boy down, he was maybe only 3 or 4.

"Im sorry its a mess, i wasn't planning on anyone coming over." You chuckled as you turned to the short male by your side. Rich studied you intrigued. The baby boy waddled up to you with an empty juice cup.

"Juice? You want juice, Vinny?" You cooed at the baby as you lifted him up and rested him back on your hip. You brought him into the kitchen, balancing him as you took some orange juice from the tall fridge.

"...you never told me..." Rich stared at the ground as you froze slightly. Vinny grabbed at your shirt impatiently.

"You had changed Rich... i didn't want to bother you with that." He snarled and banged his fists against the counter making you turn to him. He looked up at you with grief in his eyes.

"(y/n) we were best friends...you should have told me YOUR FUCKING PARENTS DIED"

"Just....i know that we-"

"Don't ok, i don't want to hear anything you have to say." Shocked he stared into your eyes, they were intense and striking through him. You placed the baby down, who immediately ran off with his now full cup.

"It was late... Sage and I were hanging out on the couch, watching some intense hippie movie he picked out. The kids were upstairs asleep and everything was fine. Then he got a call..." You looked away as Squip leaned on the doorframe. Now he shows up...

"They had been in an accident... something about a driver hitting them, couldn't see in the dark and he was high... They didn't make it," Your fists tensed, " We were alone... sage was heartbroken, and then...then Vinny and Audrey..." A suppressed sob left your lips as you crumpled onto the floor.

Rich ran around and seized your shoulders as you sobbed loudly, he held you to his chest as he stroked your hair tenderly. He felt a pair of eyes penetrating into his back but he disregarded the voice in his head.

He wasn't letting you go again.
