"Go call Sensei!" A deep red arm had showed up in the Cord Shore that same morning and Ruby could see now a whole new body hanging and about to fall. Yellow Diamond was already gone, as fast as a lightning bolt in a storm. Ruby tried to get closer to the new gem, excited to see their shine, their color. She left her sword on the ground behind her and stepped ahead, with both eyes glued on the red. It was similar to hers, but it was more purple-ish, almost like a fuchsia.
A crack sounded and the whole gem finally came down; Ruby stepped back, weary to not touch them until Sensei arrived, but really excited to make another uniform.
"Ruby!" Yellow yelled from far away. "Hurry up!" She yelled back and picked up her sword "They are already here!"
The black flowing tunic of Sensei was approaching behind the shiny gems that were running to them. Padparadascha with his long orange hair, Yellow Diamond going slow to be with the others, Chrysoberyl running in a calm way, Pink Topaz almost flying across the sea of grass, Aquamarine laughing and yelling, and Red Diamond. The last one was the first one in arrive where Ruby was standing.
"Where is it? Where is it? Let me see them!" Ruby raised her arms up and blocked the way.
"You know the rules, Red."
"Oh c'mon, just let me see."
"Nope. Now, get back and let Sensei work."
And in fact, the tall Sensei passed them in silence and checked on the new one, both of his hands covered in gloves and his head clean as always. Red Diamond jumped around Ruby, with his short hair shining and bouncing, while Pink Topaz and Yellow started to do the same.
"Hm, I see." Said Sensei while covering the new gem with his tunic. Ruby started to get a bit anxious too, like everyone else.
"Who is the new one, Sensei?" Chrysoberyl asked with a soft voice, making all of them to stop and look at the bulky fabric, even Padparadascha looked interested on it. Sensei closed his eyes, and answered in a deep voice:
"Garnet, her name is Garnet."
