Chapter 3

I grabbed alex shoving him and the chest behind me as Mum tossed me one of the swords taking deep breaths I began focusimg my mind on the weight of the weapon and calculated exactly what to do...... All the while silently curseing myself for leaving my gun.... I mean dads gun in the other room. In a sudden scramble the three of us where attacking and blocking, flipping, kicking and punching I insticntively  kept looking behind checkin for Alex.... Big mistake my sword was thrown accros the room, double flipping backwards dodgeing attacks I found myself unarmed "Whoah where did you learn to do that!!!" I laughed at his amazed expression and winked suddenly being pinned to the wall. Struggling for air I had to think fast and kneed the guy in the family jewels and gave him a good right hook. I ran to help Ardeth who was trying to hold up against three attackers.

I nodded to him and soon there were only three guys left. Hearing gun shots I looked to mum eyes wide as I watched mum being dragged away with the chest. I ran and grabbed Alex's we ran outside meeting dad and uncle John chasing after the two ars that took mum , riping alex away from more gun fire hugging him to me as dad interogated Ardeth before heading to the car. "Hey We know him! He's the curator he works at the British Museum" I mentioned to ardeth looking at the photo "are you sure" I nodded giving a "duh" look but stopped as dad began to talk " Okay your here bad guys are and they've taken evie le me guess...." "Yes they have once again removed the creature from his grave there was this woman who knows things no one could possibly know she knew exactly where the creature was burried and they came looking for the bracelet and now they have it..." I nervously glanced to alex who finally opend his mouth "I wouldn't be to sure of that" I stood by as they examined the bracelet on his arm as Ardeth looked some what ... Horrified? "by putting this on youve started the chain reaction that cpuld bring about the next apocolypse!" Alex gasped scared stiff as Dad patted his shoulder finaly  seemingly forulating a plan. Pointing to Ardeth he delegated orders "Oi you lighten up, you (alex) Big Trouble, you (uncle John) get in the car and you (me)" I smirked crossing my arms "me what dad I havent done anything" he glared at me "Im missing guns missy and I kbow you have them" I laughed and got in the car catchibg the ammused dark liquid brown eyes of Ardeth avoiding his intense gaze  I sat between John and alex soon we were on our way to the museum.
