The Jealous

Just having her in my arms , it was like nothing else seemed to matter. All the cares of the world just seem to disappear,then she let's go of me and I see her run off into the crowd.
'Did I do something wrong' i say in my head. I just completely lose myself in the thought of ehst i could have possibly done wrong for her to just run off like that. I run to the front of the park to see if the rest of my friends was there yet. I see my best friend Samantha waving at me and I half smile and walk towards her and just before I get to her I feel someone's arms surround me. I look behind me and to my surprise it's Winter.
I smile and asked "why had you ran off earlier." She didn't answer but she held me even tighter. I hear ,Scott my best friend,  asking where i ran off to. I said " I didn't know where you guys where after I got off the ride. He replies " yeah yeah make up excuses". Winter  walks around me and grabs my hand. Scott gives me this look and says" you're still driving me home right" I nod and ask if he's ready to leave. He says yes and we began to walk to my car Samantha walks up and asks for a ride because hers wasn't able to make it. I say yes unlocking my car doors. Everyone gets on the car and winter sits in the passenger side. I put my hand in her lap as we leave Busch Gardens and she just smiles putting her hand over mines. About half way home Winter looks at me and kisses me. And right then and there at this exact moment it was as if it was just me and her. It was like I was just struck by lightning, Then I slowly opened my eyes and I could see the anger and hatred in Samantha's eyes in my rear view mirror. I never knew Samantha felt that way about me. I looked ahead and just pretend like I didn't see her at all as me and Winter. Winter smiles at me then holds my hand. We finally get to scotts house dropping him off. He says thanks and bee safe and that he would call me later. I notice that Winter had fallen asleep holding my hand. I then drive samantha home and she quickly gets out not saying a word. I drive away seeing her get in her house. I gently rub Winter's face and she slowly starts to wake up.

"Derrick I don't want to go home," she says sleepily.

"Me either but you'll definitely see me again Winter." She looks at me and says "yeah i know but all I want to do right now is to go back to sleep in your arms. Your the only person that makes me feel safe." I smile and begins to stroke her hair.

"Derrick  I love it when you do that." I smile a little then she looks at me smiling back.

"Well Winter it's getting late don't you think you need it go home."

"Do I haft to?"

"It is getting late.," . She looks at me and I look back. Well ok... she tells me where she lives and I drive her there. I get out and open the door for her. She gets out and I put my arms around her waist and I kissed her like she has never been kissed in her entire life. I slowly pull away not wanting to let go.

"Goodbye Winter." She smiles kissing me again wrapping her arms around my neck and her fingers through my hair and kisses me passionately then she hands me a business card says " I believe that you dropped this." I look at the card and it has her phone number. She says Text me later babe," she says, I smile at her and she smiles back at me then I walk over to my dads car and get in and I have this really cheesy smile on my face.

"Let me guess you got a girlfriend huh?" I look at him still with that cheesy smile on my face.

"I'll take that for a yes, so what's her name" he says as we start to drive off.
"Her name is Winter, is that just a majestically beautiful name."

" Yeah it is a nice name. So did you have fun."

"Really dad, are you really gonna ask me that?" He laughs as we pull into our driveway. He stops the car, " I am gonna go upstairs into my room. Do u need anything before I go dad?" "

"Nope I'm ok but I'll call you if I need anything." I open the door and I run into the house and up the stairs to my room and lock the door. I jump onto my bed and then I pull out my phone.I put in Winter's number into my phone and I texted her 'hey.' Then I text Samantha and and asked her if she was ok. And to my surprise I got a text back immediately from both of them.
