that brilliant orange sun
bringing in a new dawn
those soft dew drops
sparkiling like diamonds
those chilled monsoon winds
bringing shivers of recognition
telling me about this
new day new thought a fresh start
leaving behind those
dark days painful memories wrenching emotions
walking me through a sea of unknown
passing through a storm
of being a hot mess
trying to untangle each time
a loop of confused heart and brain
into this a new day
finally crossing that storm
waking up from that nightmare
to a beautiful reality
this path from dusk to dawn
