Chapter Two

"Hey, hey Riot wake up. Chris wants to talk to you," I opened my eyes to see Balz lightly shaking me awake. I nodded my head and stretched as he smiled and walked out of my room

I got up and took a quick shower, put in my white eye contact in my left eye, put on some fresh Batman undergarments and then got dressed in my Batman socks, Batman jeans, Batman hoodie and even Batman converse. Because yes, I'm that extra. I threw on my HIM jacket over my hoodie in case it's cold,

I added a Batman snap back hat and placed it backwards on my head before grabbing my iPod and walking down the stairs in search of Chris.

I finally found him sitting at the kitchen counter drinking a monster, "Hey, Balz said you wanted to talk to me?" I broke the silence and he looked up and a smile rose on his face

"Yes, I just wanted to let you know we invited a few bands over to celebrate your adoption. If that's okay with you?" He asked and I smiled and nodded
"Okay. Which bands?" I asked and he smiled

"BVB, suicide silence (a/n I know Mitch died in 2012 but for this book he's still alive and well❤️) PTV, OM&M, and SWS. And judging by your outfit I think Andy may take an interest in you so be careful okay" he said and I rolled my eyes but nodded

"Oh and, we noticed you don't have a phone so consider this a gift from the family," Chris said and passed me a black iPhone SE.
He then passed me a Batman phone case
"I just guessed with that case by the way but I guess I got the guess right" Chris laughed

I chuckled and walked over to him and hugged him, "Thank you...Dad" I said and I felt him tense up but then relax and pull me closer and we stayed like that for a few moments.
Then we pulled away and Chris left to go find Balz.

Anyways.

Holy shit!! All my favourite bands were coming! Ahhh. Well aside from HIM. Which is a little disappointing but oh well. Maybe one day

Chris POV

I may have left out one band when telling Riot which ones were coming. I had Ricky help me in getting Ville Valo to come here. The rest of HIM was busy currently but Ville said he wouldn't mind at all coming out. I also asked Marilyn Manson to make an appearance because she said it herself he's a huge influence in her life. It is the least I can do to make her feel welcome And loved. Not that she wasn't already. On a different note, she called me dad! I can't describe the feeling that spread through me when I heard her say that.

Riot's POV

I turned on my new phone to find it already set up with the boys numbers pre programmed into it , then I walked around the house for a few minutes looking for Ricky, and eventually found him reading one of Corey Taylor's books in his room

"Hey Rick?" I asked and he looked up and smiled at me

"Yeah?"

"Can I borrow your skateboard?" I asked and he smiled and nodded, "Sure. If you want, tomorrow we can go and buy you your own board?" He offered and I smiled gratefully and nodded as he passed me his board "Thanks Ricky!" I shouted and ran downstairs and out the door, finding the boys on the porch relaxing. Wait why were they outdoors!? Is the world ending!?

"What in the hell are you guys doing outside in the daylight?" I asked and they burst out laughing

"Waiting for the other bands. What're you doing out here?" Angelo asked and I shrugged

"Borrowed Ricky's board. Where's the closest skate park?" I asked and Balz gave me directions and I took off, skating down the sidewalks and pulling off multiple tricks. Hearing the boys whistle and clap until I was out of their sight
