I wake up to a ceiling glowing over me from the morning sunlight. Slowly rolling over to see my reflection of my gorgeous face in my full length mirror hanging on the back of my bedroom door with a sky blue matte frame. My hair looks like Medusa's hair, my eyes have crust around them. My lips are dry like a desert in the day time and my face is a rough as a rock.
AH! I need to wake up! I'm going to be late for school!
I roll over to my left side to look out of my window which is about 2 feet tall, from my bed, I look towards the wall just above my head to see my alarm clock, 6:12. I'm actually early, wow. I've never done this before. Okay! I guess I can just get ready early and draw something. I walk over to my closet and open it to reveal my rainbow of clothing. I reach in and grab a golden yellow plain T-shirt with a single red rose embroidered in the chest area of the shirt, it looks like a beautiful green and red waterfall sewn onto the shirt. Next, I grab a pair of dark blue high-wasted jeans. As I pulled on a pair of jeans I jumped, which probably made my parents think that there is an earthquake in New York.
I look over at the time again, 6:14, but I looked so fast I thought I was anemic. I went for my head with my hands trying to stop the world from being a spinning top. I almost forgot, I need to tuck in my shirt. I tuck in the ends of my shirt into the waist of my jeans completing my look. I made sure to pull out some of the shirt so it looks like I'm wearing a mushroom. I slowly walked back to my closet to only look at the floor, like I'm looking for a four-leaf clover in a clover patch. I pull out a pair of black knee-high, two inch platforms and took a few steps back to sit on my bed. I then pulled on my platforms and stood up for a while admiring my shoes in the mirror just to see that I grew 10 inches taller.
I walk over to my wooden dresser while I hear the floor cry of pain. As soon as I reach my dresser I realize that my dresser looks like a main road without traffic lights; all of my art supplies are everywhere.
I can't find my copic sketch markers anywhere! I need them for school today! I'm finalizing my semi-realistic drawing today!
So, I begin my search for my copics.
I guess today was meant to be. I woke up early for a reason, to find my copics.
I lay on the floor to look behind the dresser, but instead of finding just a dark gap between the wall and the dresser, I find a library of memories. My first drawing, my favorite pencil and my favorite teddy bear.
Too many memories! Too many, just too much.
A tear turns into a storm of teardrops. I rush over to my mirror. My face was as red as a strawberry, and the tears on my face are beginning to slowly dry up on my face leaving white streaks on my cheeks. My dog Athena opened my bedroom door and ran to me like she was at my bedroom door all this time with a glass cup to her ear listening in on me. It's like she's a super dog.
"Oh, Athena! I wasn't crying because I'm sad, it because I'm happy!" I told Athena even though I know she can't understand me.
Bark!Bark! Athena answered me with a high-pitched bark.
Suddenly, as if a fairly used a bit of her magic, my set of 80 copic sketch markers appeared right in front of me. I carefully moved Athena off of my lap and crawled like a tiger creeping up on its prey.
This is awesome! I'm still on schedule!
I took a glance at the time, 6:26. Okay, I still have time to eat, brush my teeth and meet up with Sacha!
I ran down the stairs like a stampede of elephants is behind me. While turning at the bottom of the stairs I slipped slightly which made me turn faster than expected. As soon as I get down stairs I brush my teeth, grab a toast and run out the door.
