Halloween Night{Ponyboy x Reader}

{I thought of this on Halloween after I finished trick or treating. I had a La Croix and I was walking outside drinking it and I kept stumbling and almost tripping on all the nonsense outside, and I was thinking like, I feel kind of drunk and bruh I deadass gasped and was like 'OMG WHAT IF PONYBOY HAD A GIRLFRIEND THAT GOT DRUNK!' and then I thought of how I barely got any candy and how my I wrote about a character that was friends with the gang and it all just clicked and I wrote this story}


It was finally the day that Y/n and Ponyboy had been waiting for, Halloween night. They had waited all day to dress up in their costumes and get Tons of Candy. As soon as the the last bell of the day rang Y/n and Ponyboy ran out of the school all the way to his house. When they reached his house they greeted their friends and went to change into their zombie costumes. Once they finished that all they had left to do was wait.

"We've been to every house on every side of town and we barely have enough candy in our pillow cases to fill half a bucket." Y/n groaned as she and Pony walked away from the last house on the North side.

"To be honest I think it's because it rained all day, so people thought Halloween was canceled." Pony reasoned, putting a piece of candy in his mouth

"That's wack as fuck..." Y/n complained.

Just then Y/n's best friend, {besftfriends name} walked up to them and said,

"Hey guys, what are you two doing?" {your bestfriend's name} asked

"We've been trick or treating." Pony said.

"At least, we've been trying to, everyone has been handing out one candy per piece and most people pretend not to be home." Y/n chimed in.

"That must suck, but hey guess what I found out. There's this crazy soc party on the other side of here, and you've gotta check it out! They have music, candy, and alcohol it's every teenager's dream!" {You're bestfriend's name} exclaimed

"And the socs are gonna let us just walk right in?" Pony questioned, obviously skeptical of the situation.

"Well duh! it's a Halloween party, and we all have costumes on, no one would really know who we are." {your bestfriend's name} reasoned.

You and Pony thought about it for a second, and decided to go to the party. Besides what was the worst that could happen.

"Whoa this place is freaking lit!" Y/n exclaimed as soon as they walked into the massive house filled with people."

"I know right!" Your bestfriend exclaimed.

Y/n looked over at her boyfriend Pony and he just smiled and nodded, meaning she could go explore. She roamed around the house, and occasionally people would compliment your outfit. After a few minutes of aimlessly walking around the house she decided to go into the kitchen for a snack. Upon entering the kitchen Y/n noticed people in a crowd cheering. her curiousity got the best of her and she tapped someone on the shoulder and asked them what was going on, to which they replied,

"Oh you didn't hear? they're having a drinking compition, to see who can chug the most beer without vomiting or passing out. Winner gets this MASSIVE bag of candy."

"Whoa..."Y/n said in awe.

Y/n woke up in the backseat of Darry's car with Ponyboy,

"Why'd you do it?" Pony asked, now noticing Y/n was once again awake.

"Do what?" Y/n slurred

"Down 24 beer cans at that soc party." Pony asked.

Y/n took a minute to remember what had happened, and then it came back to her. How she heard of the competition to win her and her friends some candy. How she couldn't resist the temptation to play. She had no clue that she would have to drink 24 cans of beer to beat the other contestants before not long after she too passed out herself,

"Oh yeaaaaa!" Y/n exclaimed in remembrance, "Did I win?"

Pony sighed and looked at his intoxicated girlfriend and said to her gently,

"Yea...the bag's in the back..."

Y/n clasped her hands together and said and dropped her head on his shoulder,

"Oh goodie! I'm glad! I don't regret doing it, I'd to it again! now we all have candy!" Y/n said

Pony didn't say anything to her, he just sighed once more,

Once they got to his house Pony Carried Y/n on his back and Darry carried the larg Christmas sack sized bag into the house. Once inside their house Pony gently place Y/n onto the couch, to which she awoke from her drunken slumber.

"Guys look what Y/n brought home!" Darry said dumping the whole sack of candy onto the coffee table in the living room in front of the whole gang.

They all cheered and ran over to the coffee table grabbing various candies, all the while, they praised Y/n who had a bright smile on her face. Pony smiled lovingly at her and grabbed himself and her a piece of candy. He sat next to her and handed her a peppermint, whilst he unwrapped a lollie pop and put it in his mouth. He took her hand in his and with out looking at her he said softly,

"You did good y/n."

Y/n didn't say anything but her smile was 10 times brighter. This is all she wanted, to make her friends happy and she had done that, so she curled u next to Ponyboy and let the sound of her friends loud chatter, drift her off into a peaceful slumber.
