This is kinda of just a draft for a story I'm planning to make. I'm still working on the idea and characters though.

     Drip, drip, drip.
The rain fell hard on the small cafe, fitted inbetween two other small buildings. Though what would you expect when you're in a state, where the summers and springs are full of rain. Dark grey clouds covered the sky, as the storm grew bigger and bigger over the small town.
     Summer showers.
It would last a long time, with its cold wet weather for a while, before going to absolutely nothing but hot, dry weather in a heartbeat. Some preferred the rain, some preferred the heat, either way it was terrible, from floods to long lasting drouts.
A main road lies in the middle of the town. On this road, a small, crimson, pink painted, cafe, is found. It's bright yellow door reflecting the sun rays, whenever it shows through the clouds. Sweet pastries, powdered with sugar, are displayed for the people walking by on the wide sidewalk. Young adults, and teens are hired here for summer jobs when the small cafe is most active, but are often fired before the start of school or sooner. Most of the time it was because they were fooling around, or weren't taking the job seriously, but either way it was hard to find someone who had worked there for a while. The shop was owned by an old man. He was strict, and was the cook of the pastries that were made, though he did occasionally let some of his employees make them as well. Though, none of the young people he had put under his wing and taught them, had ever gotten close to the unique, amazing pastries the old man made.
But what will happen this gloomy summer full of rain, when new customers and employees are introduced?
