Chapter 10- Rumors

I opened the staff door where I encountered and was greeted by Hayate-Kun recently changed into his work outfit.

"You're early" I admired his earliness.

"It's good to be early you know" Hayate shoot back.

"True Im going change and start my shift" I quickly shut down our conversation.

"Oh ok sure" He moved to the side to let me pass to the changing room.

I quickly changed my student attire to a waiter's attire. I then opened the door and began my shift.

It's been weeks since the brawl and it still left some scars even though my black eye is gone. Hase and the other members of Apus that joined the brawl we're kicked out of the school while Hase is in jail after my dad filed a case against him. I was happy that Hase has been punished by what he did Spoiled brat.

I roam around the teen's sector looking for customers sitting onto the couches, then I found a group of three students that appears to be my batchmates. Are these my batchmates? Why are they here? Of course, they are going to order food stupid Itsuki.

I quickly approached them fast walking towards them avoiding to run. When I arrived at the table they were at they were concealing their faces with the food menu. I pulled out my yellow sticky note and a pen that has an eraser on the back.

"Welcome to Saikō no ryōri what would you guys like to order?" I questioned them.

They quit concealing their faces removing the food menu from their faces putting them down onto the table. After putting down their concealment I identify them as my batchmates Stacy, Haru, and Justin they are also close friends with the Twins Eiko and Daiki and Emi-San.

"Are you serious with Rin?" Stacy shoots back.

"What relationship do you guys have?" Justin added.

I was jumped by their questions reminding me about helping Rin-Chan with her studies at that one popular teen hangout.

"Sorry but 'Are you serious with Rin' and 'What relationship do you guys have' Are not in our menu" I shoot back.

"We're serious Itsuki" Haru replied.

"Look if you guys are thinking of me dating Rin-Chan you're wrong" I protested.

"If you guys aren't going to order Im afraid you have to leave" I added.

"Ok fine we are just being sure that you and Emi-San are happy. And also we are going to order, We would like to have 1 Mango shake, 1 Strawberry Shake, and 1 Milk tea with black pearls" Stacy explained then gave an order.

I listed down all the orders that Stacy gave escaping the topic about me and Rin.

"Ok is that all?" I asked.

"Actually I would like to add 1 large chip no flavors" Justin added.

I wrote down what Justin added to the order list.

"That all?" I asked again.

"Yes, that's all" Haru replied.

I headed to the kitchen and placed the sticky note onto the orders board. Since there are no other teens around the teen sector I became bored and decided to head back to Emi-Sans friends. Im the only waiter in this sector Hayate is at the dating/table two-sector

"You're back do you have our orders?" Justin asked.

"Nope they are still preparing it and I decided to have a chat with you guys" I explained my presence to them.

"Hey, Itsuki sorry about thinking of us you dating Rin we just wanted Emi-San to have you because you guys look like a cute couple," Justin said in an apologetic way.

I chucked "That's alright back when I was dating Emi-San we had those rumors about me cheating on her"

Ah fuck. Stacy and Haru screamed out of romantic excitement knowing that I and Emi-San already love birds back in Elem. Justin is in shock then joining the two screaming out of romantic excitement.

And thus begins the rumors...

Walking through the halls is now my nightmare students are now murmuring about me and Emi-San's old relationship that wasn't supposed to be leaked out. I and Emi-san are pretty much distant letting the rumor die out. I bet she is really mad at me although she retains her smile for some reason.

"Damn Itsuki-Kun you really did it, you are now the talk of the school" Hayate praised.

"I didn't mean to leak it!" I replied.

"Well, now you have I bet Emi-San is angry at you now" Hayate-Kun reminded me of my promise that I have broken yesterday.

"Just help me with this!" I asked for help.

"Well, the only thing you could do is Apologize to her..." Hayate gave me a piece of advice.

I gaze onto Emi-San talking to Eiko while walking. She is still smiling even when she could hear about the murmurs.

Walking down this pathway makes me feel anxious about my surroundings since this is the pathway where I was knocked unconscious. The pathway is surprisingly almost a ghost path only a few students are walking. I am 50 meters distance between me to Emi-san avoiding her after breaking a promise. "Well, the only thing you could do is apologize to her" The words of Hayate ring out my mind. I clench my fists gaining the courage to tell apologize.

I broke the 50-meter distance between me and Emi-San and quickly caught up to her.

"Hey, Emi-San..." I stuttered making my words obvious that I am nervous.

She turned her blue crystal eyes onto mine fixing her blue hair that is bugging her ears. Is she angry or... No?

"I'm sorry.." I said in an apologetic way.

"About the promise that we would not leak out our past relationship? I have also broken it" She accepted and admitted.

"What do you mean?" I shoot back.

"I also told Justin, Haru, and Stacy about our old relationship and then I found out that you also admitted it at Saikō no ryōri to them this confirming it" She replied.

"So it's fair n fair" Emi-San added then shrugging.

"So you're not angry at me?" I replied.

"No of course not like I said it's Fair n fair" She shoots back.

"So you're not going to be angry if I do this" I smirked then grabbed her hand holding it displaying the passerby's that we are a couple.

"ITSUKI!" She then forcefully let's go of my hand.

I then chuckled as the students that were passing by looked onto us seeing what's the commotion about, before minding their own business.

"Is that how you like to play huh?" She glared at me, then she hugs my left arm into a girlfriend-boyfriend style position.

"Cmon 'Babe' hurry up we have some business to do!" She shouted attracting the attention of the students passing by that just looked at us a second ago.

"EMI-San!" I screamed.
