Remnant's Dragon Queen

The First Step Part 1

Setsuko opened her eyes at the crack of dawn, she yawned and sat up slowly stretching her limbs. She got up and look around and saw many are still asleep. She quickly pack her sleeping bag and head out to the bathroom. She made a quick shower, dress in her and her signature , she head to the cafeteria for breakfast. Supposedly she would go for a morning jog to start her day but decide to reserve her energy for the initiation. She grab a plate of two eggs, four bacon, five sausages and two pieces of toast. For a drink, Setsuko decide a glass of chocolate milk. As she ate her breakfast, she is also reading her book. She always buries her faces in books. And if she is going on a mission or eating, she would always have a book or two with her around. In the middle of eating her breakfast, students began to fill the cafeteria. Some are either eating or chatting up with their friends.

"Setsuko!"

The bluenette look up and saw Ruby and Yang approaching her with their food

"Good morning/Morning" Ruby and Yang greeted

"Good morning Ruby, Yang" she said

"Are you excited for the initiation today?" Yang ask as they sat down

"A bit, reminds me about the S-class exams" Setsuko said

"S-class exam? What's that?" Ruby ask

Setsuko then realize she accidentally made a slip. She mentally screamed for letting her secret slip. No one except Ozpin, Ironwood, the teachers of Beacon and the remaining Team STRM should know about Earthland and her having magic.

"Oh, its a type of exam from my home town where selected individuals with remarkable abilities are put to a test of skills and prowess. Although exams only happen at the end of the year. The exams are different every year but are more difficult than the previous exams" She said "once you pass, you are now rank as an S-class hunter or huntress" she added half lying

"That sounds awesome" Yang said

"Are you an S-class Setsuko?" Ruby ask

"Yep but the way I became an S-class is different" Setsuko said

"Rumors said you have fought an entire criminal organization all by yourself at the age of fourteen is that true?" Ruby ask

"Yep, its true" Setsuko said "a nearby town is tormented by a criminal organization and every S-class are busy, so I volunteered myself to take the mission. The mayor told me that its dangerous but I told him that I don't care cause I care more about the people. So he gave in and assigned me for the mission and quickly head to the town" she said "once I arrive I saw the citizens are in separate cages; one cage filled with women, one with men and one with children. They criminals began to destroy and loot everything. I was beyond piss that I charged and began fighting off every single criminals in my path. I freed the citizens once I beat all the members except the leader along with a couple of strongest members. They were running away with sacks full of the people's possessions. I chase after them, they tried to trick me but failed. I use my semblance to capture them and drag them back. The criminals are taken away and the people partied as a thank you for saving them and stopping the criminals" she said "and once I return back to my home town, I was then promoted S-class for not only helping the towns' folk but also showing incredible power and skills in beating a single organization on my own at a young age" she added

"No wonder Prof. Ozpin let's you join Beacon this year" Ruby said

"I don't mind taking this S-class exam" Yang said "sounds fun and challenging" she added

"uhh about that, S-class exams are only for those who have stayed in my home town for five years" Setsuko said "we don't want anyone to abuse their rank just because they are S-class, so that's why the mayor is only allowed to choose a few participants" she added
