pt.1

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗶 𝗣𝗢𝗩.

Rays of sunlight shone through the curtains.The horrible sound of my alarm ringing and buzzing woke me up with a groan. 

''Ugh..''

I picked myself up from the bed and freshened up in the bathroom.My parents are well-known and busy buisness-people so they work overseas.Although living a luxurious life isn't too bad,I'd rather live a normal life with my parents.The mansion was nearly always empty.

I whipped up a simple breakfast and decided to go to school by foot instead of having Mr.Jung drive me there.It always drove a lot of attention to me,and I hated it.

After approxiametely 10 minutes or so,I reached school.I walked in,to my locker so I could get my books before attending Chemistry class which was the first class of the day.I mostly take naps during class.They don't matter that much to me.Yet,i'm still the school topper.School's pretty boring,but it's not that bad for me I guess,since I can hang with Eunah and Chimin.Oh,and the worst part of the school?

''Hey loser! Watch where you're going!''

Kyung-Mi and her mice.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗢𝗩. 

Kyung-Mi,the queen bee of the school,had bumped into Minji,making Minji drop all of her books on the floor.She was visibly annoyed,but decided to keep her mouth shut and her fists clenched to avoid any drama.Kyung-Mi pushed her roughly against the locker.

''What are you,deaf or mute? Do you have too big of an ego to apologize?''

Again,Minji kept quiet.Rolling her eyes at Kyung-Mi.She let out a frustrated groan and lifted her fist.Minji shut her eyes tight,knowing the pain she'll feel in a few seconds.After what feels like an eon,she felt nothing.Confused,she opened one of her eyes and peeked,only to see Kyung-Mi's fist just in front of her face.Then,a sound rang from behind Kyung-Mi.

''Leave her alone,Kyung-Mi.''

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗶 𝗣𝗢𝗩.

For the first time,I saw fear in her eyes.She was intimidated by whoever this person was.She quickly shook his hand away from her wrist,and scurried off away,her mice following her. He glared at them before turning to me.His glare turned into a soft gaze.

''You're not hurt are you?'' He asked,concerned.
''I'm fine.Don't worry.''  I replied calmly.

He lifted my chin with his hand and turned my head from left to right,seeming to inspect whether if I had bruises on my cheek. Then,he smiled and held his hand out,

''I'm Kim Seonghoon. Nice to meet you!'' He smiled brightly.
''Minji. Liu Minji. You too. Also,thanks for saving me I guess.'' 

He nodded lightly at me.Now that I think of it,I don't think i've seen him around,considering I don't really look around me,i'm definetely not an observant person.That's the last thing i'd use to describe myself.

''Did you just transfer here?'' I asked,out of curiosity.
He chuckled, ''Minji,i'm in most of your classes,you never noticed?'

I was embarrassed.Too embarrassed.Wow,you really need to pay more attention to your surroundings,Minji. ''O-oh,um..Sorry, heheh..'' I tried to laugh it off.

He started picking up my books for me.I also squatted down,picking up the books.I unknowingly started to stare into his hazel eyes.It felt soft,and gentle.It was mesmerizing.He looked up at me and caught me staring.I immediately looked away,and took my books from his hands. 

''Thanks.'' I said,trying to keep my cool.

''No problem at all,Minji.'' Seonghyun still had his smile on his face.

We were staring at each other with silence in the air.

''RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRING!!!'' The bell suddenly went off.
Phew.God gave me a chance to live. ''Um..Well,see you in class I guess,Seonghyun.'' I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. He waved goodbye at me and smiled,again.I scurried off to class with my books in my grip,feeling heat rushing to my cheeks.
