The white haired girl walked over to Yamiyo, she held her abdomen, Yamiyo had assumed the impact of the slam had broken her ribs. "I'm sorry you had to save me, I froze after all that training...I". Yamiyo looked at her as she sobbed, he put his hand on her head and rubbed. "You were amazing, you overcame the moment of fear at the end fought back." After he said this, he turned around and started walking, he needed to find Simone and Tomonari quick. "Wait, take me with you. Let me accompany you until I can repay you for saving my life."
The girl said passionately.
Yamiyo took a liking to her, as ruthless as she was, he seen she was gentle at heart. "Repaying someone back is just way too much work, how about you just join me and my friends as a hunter group." The girl stared at Yamiyo, he twinkled when she looked at him. "Well you coming or what?" Yamiyo asked. The girl ran to his side as he walked Towards familiar voices.
"You asshole, you left us to die!" Tomonari yelled. Simone didn't speak instead she stared at the girl next to Yamiyo. "Well you didn't die did you?" Yamiyo replied with a smart tone. Simone skeptical of the girl pointed in her direction. Who's the girl and why is she here?" Simone asked. Yamiyo looked over at the girl. "Oh yea I never did get your name." Yamiyo said nonchalantly. "Oh right Im Lial, Yamiyo saved me" she said with a smile.
Simone was skeptical about the girl, Yamiyo still hadn't stated the purpose of the girl accompanying him, and why even save her for that matter.
On the balcony Mr Okata looked at the remaining 8 participants. Last year this number was cut in half, but this year the talent was too great to just let die. Mr. Okata had given special attention to the boy Azreal and Yamiyo. Azreal had already possessed the heart of a bounty hunter, and he was curious about the path Yamiyo would take. "Alyse your brat has grown up since I last saw him. To think you'd let him become a bounty hunter of all things" he thought to himself.
"Listen participants, you all here have survived the hunter games making you full fledged bounty hunters now. Once opened go through the door to receive your Hunter I.D. number, and those of you planning to form hunter groups must register there to." As Mr. Okata spoke Yamiyo thought of what Azreal had said. Would they have to face each other again, he hoped not.
The four walked through the door to find a nerdy looking guy behind a desk, he handed out cards with writing on them. Tomonari approached him and received a card, 7-409 was written on the card. The other three received cards as well. Yamiyo looked at his card 7-412 was the number he'd been given.
The man looked at the four with curious eyes. "You four must be registering as a hunter group? Well see how long this last" he said with a snarl. The man wrote for awhile then gave Yamiyo a clipboard and an ink pen "Have this back here in five minutes." Yamiyo nodded.
The group moved to the other side of the room when they reached a halt Yamiyo gave Simone the clipboard with no words said. Simone read the paper, there were two lines, starting before each line were two words. The first word read "Captain" the second read "Lieutenant". Simone looked at the group with serious eyes. "Out of us four we need to pick the captain and lieutenant of our hunter group." Simone said sternly.
Tomonari stood up in a lively manner now taking center stage. "I'll take on the role of captain. I am be-" Simone covered Tomonari's mouth. He dramatically panicked until she released and flicked his forehead. "Be serious Tomo, if anyone is going to be captain its Yamiyo, this was his dream after all we just followed." Simone said. Lial shook her head in agreement, she had no interest in being an upper ranked member. Besides she knew nobody had fully trusted her. Yamiyo knew Simone would make him captain, he was sure of it. Lial suggested that Yamiyo as captain picked who would be best fit for the title Lieutenant.
Tomonari argued that he could take the position but Yamiyo felt he lacked the ability to make instant decisions to keep everyone alive. Yamiyo asked Tomonari, Simone, and Lial a question to determine who'd be his Lieutenant. "If you're on a bounty, and one member of the group gets a sickness that can affect the other members what do you do?" Asked Yamiyo. Tomonari had never gave an answer, he knew what the answer was but he couldn't bring himself to that being the only solution.
Simone and Lial both came up with the same answer, that to kill the sick member to protect the rest of the groups health was the most logical answer. However Lial had said she had not wanted to be second in command, which made the choice easier for Yamiyo. Simone was named Lieutenant of the Squad. Yamiyo took the clipboard back to the man who had been waiting for well over five minutes, he had given Yamiyo a malicious stare before writing again. He then asked what their squad would be called, Yamiyo pondered, as captain he felt he should name his squad but what exactly and then the name popped into his head. They were to be called Squad Rebellion.
Yamiyo stated the name vibrantly, the man just stared at him blandly and adjusted his glasses. " You and your squad can go to the third floor and have a seat.
Yamiyo gathered the others and headed upstairs as told. Once up the stairs, they were greeted by Mr. Okata. Yamiyo and Mr. Okata made eye contact while Mr Okata spoke, Yamiyo felt uneasy.
"I personally wanted to congratulate all of you on becoming full fledge bounty hunters." Mr. Okata said.
"Why us specifically?" Yamiyo questioned
"Well because my grandson had become captain of his own squad of course" Mr Okata said this smiling deviously.
The other three stared in shock, wondering if this was true. Yamiyo had always told Simone and Tomonari that his mother was his only living relative. Mr Okata had begun speaking again. "In any case I'll be giving you a brief orientation, first thing first can the lieutenant of squad rebellion step forward." Simone stepped forward and bowed. "Now as lieutenant you will receive all notifications of bounties that can be accepted. These notifications will be sent through messenger pigeons. No bounty have to be accepted unless it comes directly from myself. However, in those cases you'll most likely be summoned back to the tavern to speak with me personally. Bounties tend to vary from capturing someone alive to killing them. Some bounties consist of escorts and some come from the government for assimations or in times of war. Some bounties have large pay and others have smaller pay amounts."
Mr. Okata handed Yamiyo a small booklet but Yamiyo refused. He said he and Simone memorized that book as part of training. The cover of the booklet had "Bounty Hunters Code" printed onto it. Mr Okata nodded his head. "I expect great things from this squad, Squad Rebellion I Now salute you" Mr Okata slapped his palm onto his heart and bowed a little and the group followed.
