As we pulled up to the SSU I turned to Eve.

“Do want me to train you this afternoon?” I asked her.

“Yes, that would be awesome.” She exclaimed excitedly. “Thank you Athena I really mean it you’re the best.”

“No worries Eve now go get changed we start in half an hour in the gym.” I told her.

As soon as I entered the living room I could feel the tension in the room, Joey was sitting on the couch with Kevin and Mark, they all looked deep in thought and worried. Joeys head snapped up as I entered the room I instantly knew something was wrong.

“Joey what’s going on?” I asked as I sat down next to Kevin on the couch.

“There have been reports of some of Big Johnny’s crew sniffing around town, we’re worried someone’s tipped him off that you’re here.”  He told me his face showing nothing but seriousness. I sucked in a breath processing what I had just been told, and then I got angry.

“Why can’t he just leave me alone? Arrg I’m so sick of living in fear that one day he’s going to find me and take me back to that stupid horrible place he calls a home, I’m tired of running I’m tired of having to always be on my toes in case he suddenly attacks. I’m sick of this Joey and I don’t know what to do anymore.” By the end of my rant I had my head in my hands and my shoulders slumped, I felt and arm pull me over to them and be hugged to their chest I instantly knew it was Kevin, then I felt a hand on my knee, I looked up to find Joey looking at me with an unreadable expression on his face.

“I know Athena and every day I ask why. Why did this happen to a wounderfull girl who didn’t deserve it. But I’ve watched you grow up for last however many years into a strong confident kick ass women who I know can deal with anything that is thrown her way, and me and Kevin will always be here for you Athena and we won’t let him get to you, no matter what we will protect you Athena.” He looked at me with such sincerity I had no choice but to believe him.

“Thank you, both of you I don’t know what I’d do without you two.” I told Joey and Kevin looking at them both.

“No worries Athena we’re always here for you.” Kevin told me giving me one last hug.

I looked up at the clock and saw that we had been talking for nearly half an hour, I stood up and looked at them.

“I have to head down to the gym I promised Eve I’d help train her, I’ll see you guys tonight.” I waved and headed out the door.

I spent the rest of the afternoon improving Eve’s techniques and I was very impressed at how well she picked everything up. After we were done I headed to my room and started playing my guitar practising the song for music it helped me to relax and clear my head.

The rest of the week was uneventful in English Vance wouldn’t let me do anything on our project so I sat there drawing all lesson, Art I worked on my wolf, sport I sat out witch was driving me crazy, math was just boring and music I just learnt all the cords to our song and practised the lyrics. I also trained Eve every morning and afternoon she was actually getting really good now.

It was Sunday morning and I was currently sitting in the doctors room getting the stiches taken out of my stomach and I was ecstatic as soon as the last stich was removed and the Doctor said it had healed fully and I was fine to train I was out of there like a bat out of hell. As I was running towards the gym I accidently ran into Kevin.
