Hail to the Queen

"Alissa, Alissa please stay with me!"
"I'm trying!"
"Keep her safe! She mustn't know about the girl." They heard a loud screeching overhead. A giant bat swooped down and stole the baby from her mother. Twigs snapped behind them and the trees mysteriously combusted.
"Daniel, I'm scared!"
"Don't worry my love I won't let them hurt you!" A woman laughed behind them, emerging from the trees.
"Well isn't this touching? Too bad the show has to end so soon, but I hate romances."
"Melissa stop! Fight the evil I know you can!"
"Evil? What evil? This is who I was meant to be. All this power has shown me things, things your simpleton mind would never be able to comprehend! Your attempts to stop me are futile and worthless. Take care of them my pet."
The giant bat opened it's mouth, exposing rows of sharp, pointy teeth. It screeched making their ears bleed. It threw the baby somewhere into the woods. It dug its nails into the king's waist, ripping him apart. Blood sprayed everywhere and his intestines hung from the trees like floating lanterns.
"MELISSA STOP IT PLEASE! THEY DON'T DESERVE THIS! WHAT HAPPENED IS BETWEEN US! LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!"
"Once again you're too late to save them. I'm done chasing you, it's about time the world is rid of your useless existence." Everything started spinning and the ground opened up underneath her feet. The flames from below consumed her body, dragging her in.
"It's such a shame too, we could've been happy together."

Ariana was awaken by her own screaming. What happened? "Don't worry Ari, it was just the nightmare again." Her body was drenched in sweat, her heart racing. When will this nightmare go away? She lifted up her shirt. Mysterious bruises appeared on her ribs and stomach. Everything felt so real, no Ariana it was a dream! That never happened! It couldn't have... right?
