no matter what I do
They lie
They say they can help
Though I know it's not true
With a smile on their face
And deceit in their eyes
Nothing but a trick to leave you mesmerized
Their lies grow deep into your heart
Enough to make you fall apart
It's agonizing to know
But can you
Will you grow
Or
Will it lead to despair only you know
As your tired weary eyes watch the scars grow
will you know hope
Or is that just a dream
A dream
That can never be seen
Are you okay
The question I know
I only can only lie
Cuz I know if I told them the truth
They would go and hide
From the monster they see
The monster that is me
You tell them you're okay
It may not arise
In your head you know
Everybody lies
They say they are happy even though they are not
They tell you that they care
Though they do not
say they love you
Then leave your heart to rot
But what else have you thought
In the end you knew it was true
But in the end
you were lying
You know it true
You were lying
Even to you
Everyone lies
Even the closest people to you
