SHE SLOWLY PICKED UP the objects, holding a questionable look in her face. In one hand she held a shot gun in the other a green switchblade. She placed the weapons back in the box but shortly after picked them up again. She squinted her eyes at the handles of the items and read the initials of 'C.S'.
"It was locked away, how could someone have possibly got these?" She whispered.
She let out a sigh before putting the box underneath her arm and walking home. As she headed to the kitchen she placed the box on the kitchen table, grabbing the food from earlier she placed it in the microwave. Lilith leant against the counter, but suddenly hearing a small ticking noise. It gradually got louder and louder until it was unbearable. She yanked the microwave plug out of the wall and pushed the buttons. Pulling the pot out she opened the lid to see a watch, she picked it up and opened the cover to see a photo.
"Sam?"
She then saw another picture, her mother.
"Why?" She questioned.
"No one should know... "Toby that bastard."
Her mind flooded with memories and arguments.
She took all of the items and walked downstairs to the laboratory. She placed them on the side and put on her glasses. Lilith grabbed one of the gloves she had been working on for months. She cautiously walked over to the rabid rats in the cage, slowly reaching her hand in she picked it up, she placed the palm of her hand against its head. I squirmed around until her hand held its head. It fell limp onto the table, she grabbed her X-ray screen and hovered it over the rodent.
"It worked, all I have to do is to find other subjects."
She sat down in her chair and drifted off to sleep.

Lilith walked towards the building she had dreaded for years. She tip toed into the main hall revealing 10 men scattered around the place, either sleeping or placing bets. She stomped her left foot on the ground making all of them turn around with gun aiming at her. She puts her hands up to surrender.
"Hey I don't want any trouble, gentlemen I just want to talk to Toby West," she stated.
They slowly lowered there guns before a man walked through the crowd.
"Lilith Sinclair, your a sight for sore eyes. You want another murder covering up. Maybe a distant Uncle or a 2nd cousin," he mocked.
"Can we talk in private?" She asked.
He simply nodded and lead her to the back room.
"So what did you come here for?"
"I know what your doing." She snapped.
"I know you taunting me about their deaths".
"I have no idea what you are going on about," he said.
"The gun, the knife with my dads initials the ones that should of been buried with them and the photos in the watch, I payed you to keep it on the hush hush and we could leave it at that."
"Look I don't know what your fucked up mind is thinking, but I ain't done nothing. I ain't been near you family alright,"
"That's bull," she snapped.
"No, it's the truth."
"You were the only one who had access to the weapons, no one else."
"Well I don't know how they got them but I can assure you that I never touched the gun or the knife," he said leaning over the desk.
"You better catch who fucking sent me this,"
"Aside from the threat for a moment, did it come with a letter?".He said raising at eyebrow at the girl.
"Oh my god, the note, the party," she muttered remembering the contents of the note.
'Dear Miss Sinclair, I invite you too a tea party at the 21 WestBrook Avenue, tomorrow at 6.30pm. I hope to see you there'.
"I have to go", she quickly grabbed her bag and ran to the address of the party.
Lilith slowly approached the door, she looked down at the card double checking the address. She fingers wrapped round her knife in her pocket as she rung the bell.
She stepped back and waited for the anonymous host to show their face.
