Ashton walked into the delivery room wearing the blue scrubs and a mask over his mouth. He sat down beside me and took my hand in his, but I took it away from his and gripped the railing of the bed.

He walked in with the same limp. "Miss. Anderson, it's time to start pushing." the doctor said. (A/N: I think Octavia's last name is Anderson, I couldn't find it anywhere in the book so I don't think I ever said it. If I did and this isn't it, I'm sorry but it is not Anderson because I think that's the only thing I am going to remember. Yeah, I know this is unprofessional, but I have been working on other books on this account and other accounts. Sorry.)

I nodded at her while I took a shaky breath in. Ashton put his hand over mine and I pulled it away, but he still grabbed it. His eyes showed that he was sorry and that was all I needed. It was a very petty fight anyway.

"Okay, on the count of three, I need you to stop. Push as much as you can with as much strength as you can Miss. Anderson because you are doing this without an epidural and I don't want you to be in to much pain." She said in a gentle tone. I nodded, deciding to keep my cocky remarks to myself.

"Okay. One, two, three, push." She said. I pushed and I clenched my jaw as I groaned out in pain. Ashton held my hand while the other stroked my hair which would be frustrating since I am kind of doing something, but this was actually soothing. I stopped pushing and started to breath heavily.

"Good job Miss. Anderson. That was a great push. A few more of those, your baby will be here." She said softly, I nodded. "One...two...three, push." She said and I started to push again with as much force as I could muster up inside me.

I stopped pushing. "I can't do this." I said breathlessly. Ashton was quick to hop on the bed behind me and the doctor gave him a thankful nod. "You can do this Miss. Anderson. I know it's painful and I know this is your first birth, but your almost there." She said gently.

Ashton grabbed my hands as he sat behind me and laced our fingers together. "You got this babygirl, just a few more pushes and our baby will be here. Your strong Oct, you got this." He whispered assuringly in my ear.

I nodded at the doctor, signaling that I was ready. She nodded and I could tell that she was smiling by the way her eyes squinted even though I couldn't see behind the mask.

"Okay Miss. Anderson, I promise that this or the next push should be the last." She assured. "Okay." I said quietly. "One...two...three, push." She said and I mustered up more strength and I pushed harder, squeezing Ashton's hands and I turned my head to the side, hiding it in his arm.

Soon, I heard crying so I stopped pushing. "It's a boy." She said softly as Ashton got up. "Do you want to cut the cord Mr. Black?" The doctor yes and I saw him nod as he looked at the crying baby.

He grabbed whatever tool it was from the doctor and he cut the cord as the nurse took the baby. "Miss. Anderson, is it alright if I go ahead and get him cleaned up and weighed before bringing him and the bird certificate back?" The nurse asked while smiling at the baby.

"Of course. Ash, go with please." I said. He nodded and leaned down, kissing my lips softly. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I said softly and he smiled softly at me before he followed the nurse.

"Miss. Anderson, we are going to get you cleaned up real quick. Alright." The doctor said and I nodded.
