How does an eight-year-old dwell on death? Because he feels responsible for what happened to his five-year-old brother. Because he couldn’t stop it from happening. Because the thoughts of what happened don’t belong in the head of an eight-year-old. He can’t comprehend it all. It all became too much to carry for him and his sensitive little soul.
