*Hi! I'm Haylee, it's nice to meet you. I'll be your server today. * she signed as she was at the bar serving drinks * what would you like to order? * she asked.

As she was getting the order from this elderly couple who had pointed our what they had wanted to eat and drink, the Salvatores came in to the grill looking for her. They wanted to make sure she was ok, they both loved Elena dearly, but they saw Haylee as a little sister.

*ok, that'll be $20.50 please. I'll have your food here in a moment. * she walked off to get there food together.

After she got there food together her shift ended, as she was getting ready to walk out the Salvatores got her attention by tapping her shoulder.

* hey Haylee, you doing ok? * asked Damon as he went to grab her bag off her shoulder. *how's school going? * she laughed a silent laugh at how much of a gentleman he could be sometimes, and answered with this instead of teasing him *I'm doing ok, and schools going great. Are you guys doing ok, I mean, I know that Lena isn't on talking terms with you guys but you guys are like the older brothers I never had and i don't want our friend ship to get ruined because of that you know?*

she was nervous she went to far and had tried to take her back bag after no response in sign. But what she didn't know was that 2 very over protective originals where across the bar waiting to see what was going to happen, they wanted to grab her and run, Elijah and Klaus Mikaelson where Haylee Gilberts soulmates. But only supernatural beings had soul mates and even those where rare, but if they we're mated to Haylee, then what was she?

But back to the three friends, *where doing okay hay hay, there's no need to worry about our friend ship, we are fine  and we see you as a little sister, so don't even think for a second that your sister is going to ruin that we love you like we would a blood sister. * Stefan was the first time come out of his shock at what she had signed, he wasn't expecting that to happen, not after everything they've kept from her.

*I have some things to do so can you guys drop me off at the library thats in town I have to return some books and then check out some new ones, you guys are welcome to join me if you want to. * 

she didn't want to be alone she was always on edge that someone would figure out what she is, her emotions affect the weather, she has control over the elements, and she's a witch. Haylee is a tribrid, she doesn't know what to do but she keeps her powers in check, thanks to bonbons grams of course.

*I have this horrible feeling like something bad is going to happen and I've had this feeling for the last three hours*

she complains to the brothers, who share a look that doesn't go unnoticed.

* what's with the faces? Did I do something, is Jeremy in trouble? Is Elena hurt again? Is bonnie ok? Is Caroline ok? Are one of you boys hurt? Are you both hurt? Do I have to hide a dead body again? Did Lena get kidnapped again? Are there new vampires in town? Did you piss off an original? * the brother shared a worried glance * YOU FUCK TARDS PISSED OFF AN ORIGINAL?? REALLY OH MY WORD YOUR BOTH STUPID* she was so mad after that she grabbed her bag and stormed off.

"How the hell did she know all about that? She's human, we hid it from her. She's human right? " Stefan asked his brother
Dam in shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, "she's not human I've caught her practiceing the elements one time but because she couldn't hear me I left and just hoped she would've told us, but as of how she knew. I have no idea for once. "

The originals had smirks in there faces, their mate was a feisty person, and they loved it. They thought she would fit right in with the family. They already loved her and they haven't even meet her face to face yet.

After Haylee had left the grill she went to the library to return her books so that way she could check out a couple new ones. When she reached the library some one was just walking out and hadn't looked up yet  and she wasn't looking up either. They both ended up running into eachother, she immediately  went to help up the man she had knocked down. When he was fully up right she started to apologize

*I'm so sorry, are you okay? Are you hurt? Do you need me to get you something? Did you hit something when you fell?*
she just kept asking one question after another, he final grabbed her hands and put them by her sides

* I'm fine darling there's nothing to worry about, ok I'm fine nothing hurts see ^ he spun around^ now the question  is are you ok?*

she was shocked she had never seen him before so she didnt know that he could sign

*oh yes I'm okay, did you get anything good in the library?* * why yes I did I got the new lore book they have, they dont seem to have a lot though.* *yes they do you just have to look in the right place, oh I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Haylee, what's your name?* * my name is Kol it's lovely to meet you darling* * like wise sir, would you like to find more lore books I can show you if you like* *that would be lovely darling*

she nodded head head and motioned  towards the library door, as if saying after you, they walked into the library after Kol held the door open for her of course, just because he kills people doesn't mean he can't be a gentleman. After a couple of minutes  she had found the lore section of the library.

* here you go Kol. This is all the lore we have if you need to find anything else just come find me, now if you'll excuse me I have to go return the books I have and go find new ones*

she did a dramatic bow towards Kol who shook his head before smiling at her * I wish you a good day* she waved and left heading in the opposite direction of were he was.

Kol had found the book he needed but he decided to look some more incase there was more then one he needed  to grab turns out there was a second one he needed to grab. The title of the books where called the cult of siles  he took it off the self and checked it out but as he was about to go look for you, you had appeared behind him out of thin air, well to him at least.

He jumped, scared, before he had regained his cool. * you scared me little one, it was like you appeared out of thin air, please dont do that again, I dont want to have a heart attack.*

*I am not that short, I'm fun sized, get it right* she playfully glared at the man across from her, then she laughed a silent laugh, we silent to her, she could hear nothing, she was deaf after all.

* awe but I like the nick name, it suits you, you're shorter then me and your going to be shorter then the rest of my family, by the way would you like to have dinner with us tonight?*

She grinded she knew who he was the minute he said signed his name he was the youngest male mikaelson, he was the rebellious  one, the one the witches whisper about in her head.

*I don't see why not. I'll let my sister know I'm not coming home for a little while more, then we can go.*
