He stopped eating.

Martinus: Tell me about her boyfriend.

Me: Loren's boyfriend? Nothing special. He's cute.

Tinus: Aham. Tell me about his family.

Me: His parents runs a big company in Moscow. Why are you asking all these?

Martinus: I got it. They're businessmen.

Me: Yeah so what?

Martinus: Nothing.

Me: Martinus this is ridiculous. I visited your house. Your parents, your sister, your brother are all so nice.

Martinus: Yes. We're an ordinary family.

Me: This is the thing I want. A normal family. A normal boyfriend. Don't care about what my parents want. Okay?

I sighed.

Me: We won't talk about this ever again.

Martinus: Alright babe.

I kissed him and we continued eating.

Then, Loren came inside the house.

Loren: Heeey guys guess who's back.

Her boyfriend came inside too.

Me: Loren you're back.

I stood up and I hugged her.

Me: I missed you sis.

Loren: Aw missed you more.

We stopped hugging.

Me: Hey Cole.

Cole: Hey little girl.

We hugged each other.

Martinus came closer.

Me: So... Martinus... this is Cole. Loren's boyfriend.

Martinus: Nice to meet you.

Cole: Nice to meet you too, Martinus. Take care of Y/N.

Martinus: Um-

Cole: Oh Y/N. You grew up. It's so cool to see our little girl having a boyfriend, don't you think Loren?

He looked at Loren.

Me: No wait this is not my-

Martinus: I'm just here to...Y/N tell them that I came here to-

Loren: Well Cole... Martinus is helping us with the baby.

I felt so stupid.

Martinus: That's exactly what we were trynna say.

I nodded.

Me: So... um... Cole, will you stay?

Cole: I'll go upstairs with Loren to help her with the suitcases.

Me: Oh alright.

Loren: Yeah. See ya.

They started going upstairs.

Cole: Oh nice to meet you and your boyfriend, Y/N.

Me: This is not my-

They were gone.

I looked at Martinus.

Martinus: That was really bad.

Me: I know.

Martinus: When they come back, we'll tell them everything.

Me: Yeap.

Martinus: But since then, let's kiss.

I nodded, smiling.

Maybe life isn't so bad, eventually.
