"Look at that girl she's so weird"
"Why is she always alone?"
"Maybe nobody wants to friend with her"
"Maybe she's poor"
That's what I hear when I walk past the hallways of my school.
I mean no wonder they said things like that because I'm anxious. I don't know how to make friend. Sometimes I don't think I fit in anywhere I go.
The bell rings. I take a fast step toward my class. After a few minutes the teacher come along with a girl that I'm not familiar with. Guess she's new.
Teacher: "I would like to introduce to our new student. She's Minatozaki Sana. Go and introduce yourself."
Sana: "Hey guys, I'm Minatozaki Sana from Japan and I'm 17. Please be nice to me." She said with cheerful voice and bubbly attitude.
How I wish I can be confident as her.
Teacher: "Go and sit wherever you like."
She's waking and take a sit next to me.
"Hey you, I'm sana."
"H...he..yyy, I'm Myoui Mina."
I spoke while avoiding eye contact from her.
"Nice to meet you." She smiled at me while I nodded my head.
After the class finished. I'm packing my things and walk to cafeteria. Suddenly, someone's waking beside me.
"From today onwards, you're going to be with me. Sit next to me in class and have lunch with me and bunch of my friends. Don't worry they're nice."
"But Sana, I-...."
"No buts, I want to be your friend. And I promise to protect you. I heard what happened in the hallway. But not because I pity you I want to be friends with you. It because I wanted to. Come on, Minari. I'm hungry."
I just smile and walk by her side.
Suddenly she's stop walking and look at me.
"By the way Mina, you're wrong."
"Huh? Whaat..?" I was confused.
"You said you don't think you're fit in anywhere and I think you are wrong. Because you're perfectly fit in my arms."
As she said that and hold me in her arms.
My cheeks are heating up because of her words. It's crazy how she makes me comfortable in only a day. Since that day happened. We are so inseparable.
