what will you do when it comes to loving your best friend

   It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Emma was up early. This was because her best friend Jason was taking her out to lunch at noon. She was curling her hair and then applying her last coat of eyeliner. She put on a casual high low dress with her everyday boots. She took one last look in the mirror and smiled as she put on the necklace he gave her last year.

   When walking down the stairs Emma's phone buzzed.

"Hey beautiful! i love you and miss you<3"

  This was a text from Emma's boyfriend Moose. Moose was nineteen( the same age as Emma) and was basically the guy of every girls dreams. Emma wrote back

" Hi hun. i love you too. talk to you later"

   Right before she turned the corner, she bumped into her best friend that happened to be looking very nice himself( jeans, a flannel, and a pair of workboots). He looked down at her and his first words were " well doesnt my little Emma bean look beautiful today". She had no words but all she could manage to get out was " thank you" and then smile at him.

   Jason opened the door and said bye to Emma's dog and then walked out the door. When getting to Jason's truck, Jason opened the door and lifted up Emma into the passanger seat. " I hate being so small" Emma states to Jason. " Little people are the best people" Jason quickly replies. Jason then closes the door and gets in on the drivers side.

   Jason puts his seatbelt on and then grabs the stearing wheel. Emma looks at Jason while he is driving and well, things just start to come out of her mouth. " Jason, i want a dog". Jason comes to a stop sign and stops and then turns his attention to Emma. " Emma why on gods creation do you want a dog? You have buttercup at home". Buttercup is Emma's dog that Moose got her for her sixteenth birthday.

  when he started to drive again Jason grabs Emma's hand. Emma then smiles and says "Jason why do you put up wit me. Jason squeezes her sand and then quickly lets go. He pulls up in a parking lot and then runs to the other side of the car to help Emma down. He throws her over his should and starts to spin her around and she laughs so hard she snorts. This then makes Jason laugh and then he puts her down. " Gosh Em I'm so lucky to have the cutest girl know to mankind to be my best friend". This is then followed up with Emma smiling and outing her arm around Jason's waist as you walk into the diner.

   While walking to their normal seats they sit at every Sunday, Jason pulls out Emma's chair for her to sit. When he goes to sit down the waitress brought over their regular drinks of orange juice and coffe. Emma looks at Jason baffled. "Jason you never answered my question, why do you put up with me"? Jason sits for a minute and thinks about the answer he could give. Finally he got his thoughts together and said " Emma I put up with you because I care about you, and since I care about you, I'm starting to see I love you".

   Emma sits there staring at him with thinking about anything she could say. She wants to tell her best friend that she loves him too. She wants to tell him that she believes they can be more then friends. She would have never thought that Jason would ever feel this way about her.
