It's been 3 years after max and Duke first met,and after they defeated snow ball and his crew.In those 3 years katie meets a guy named Chuck,and they get married and have a kid.At first max didnt like him,but learned to like him.However lately max has become more paranoid and more protective over Liam, Katie ,Duke and Chuck and even max himself doesn't know it's because he's overprotective of Liam,but Katie takes max to the vet because she doesn't know what's wrong.
Katie:Hey max,I'm home.
Max:(barking happily)
Katie: wanna go for a walk?
Max:(panting happily)
Max:I've got to admit,this is the life.
Unnamed Male Dog:no no I don't want to go to the veeeeeet!!!!!!
Max:what no,you tricked me!
Katie: come on max it's going to be okay.
Max:(whimpers)
???:first time here?
Max:huh,oh yeah I'm actually nervous.
???:ah don't be,Dr Francis is the best vet in top business,your going to love him.
Max:Thanks,hey what's your name?
???:my name is Marvin.Whats your name?

Marvin: Nice meet you Max.
Dr.Francis:Marvin your up.
Marvin:Well see you.
Max:see you too.
(Max is really happy about the new friend he made,and he was a cat,he wondered if there was a way he could stay in touch with him,he then looked around the vet to see a hamster who wanted out of his cage,and a paranoid dog,and crazy psycho twin cats)
Unnamed Male Hamster:I run I run I run,and I've gone nowhere, NOWHERE!
Unnamed Male Dog:My owner says I'm a good dog,and i feel like a good dog,but what if deep down I'm a bad, WHAT IF IM A BAD DOG?!!
Max: okay?
??? And ???:We start fires.
Max:ahh
???:oh my,so you do get scared easily.
???:yeah(giggles evilly)
Max: Excuse me,who are y'all two ladies?
???:I'm Mary.
???:I'm Carrie.

Max:Well Mary and Carrie forgive me for asking,but how do you know I get scared easily?
Mary:We were just listening to you talking to Marvin.Thats all.
Carrie:Yeah(giggles evilly)
Max:How do you know who Marvin is?
Mary:Let's just say he's an old friend of us.(giggles evilly)
Carrie:Yeah(giggles evilly)
Max:No offense,but can you just say more than just yeah please?
Mary: Sorry my twin sister does not know what to say,she is Antisocial, isn't that right Carrie?
Carrie: Yeah(giggles evilly)
Max:(oh man these cats are starting to freak me out,I'm hope I'm after Marvin,and that's saying a lot,cause I'm scared to go to Dr.Francis)
Mary:What?why don't you want to play with us?
Max:What?
Mary:Even though you are scared of doctors,you would rather be with a doctor than us right?
Max:What I didn't even say anything!
Mary:Trust me Max,we can read your thoughts, you would rather get a shot from Dr.Francis than be with us.
Max:What, thats not true,I just love bounding with you and your sister so much.
Mary: Don't lie Max!
Max:(oh man I'm screwed)
Dr.Francis:Be sure to get a new pet so Marvin has a friend.
Marvin's Owner: Okay
Max:Hey Marvin
Marvin:Oh hey Max, need something?
Max:do you know twin female cats named Mary and Carrie?
Marvin:oh well yes I do, but just ignore them max,okay,they are just weird crazy cats, promise me Max,you will not talk to them okay,for the sake of yourself alright!
Max:I will not talk to them
Marvin: Max I mean it!
Max:okay I wont
Marvin: good
(While Marvin's Owner was walking out,max could see and sense Marvin was scared,max then assumed that either Marvin was being dramatic,or he had a traumatic encounter with Mary and Carrie)
Dr.Francis: Max
Katie: That's us max,
Mary:well until we meet again, Max!
(Katie went to Dr Francis telling him that max gets scared of things easily,he didn't know what to do,so he gave her an Elizabethan Collar and told her to see him back in 6 months,after that Max and Katie left the vet after that Mary and Carrie went to Dr Francis for their shots,and then their owners took them back home,where both Mary and Carrie discuss their evil plans)
Mary:Well Carrie,I think we found a new friend.
Carrie:oh really,and what's his name?
Mary:Max!
Carrie:Mary,How are we going to find him again?
Mary: While he was talking to our old friend Marvin,I took some of his fur,we should be able to track him down with his fur.
Mary and Carrie:ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Carrie:your a genius big sis,this is going to be so much fun.
Mary:indeed it is.
(Back at Max and Duke's apartment)
Max:Duke I don't know why I have been more scared of everything lately.
Duke: neither do I,but don't worry max,I'm sure your going to be normal again soon.
Max: really?
Duke:yeah
Max: Thanks Buddy
Duke:your welcome
(Max felt himself get less scared after he talked to Duke,he was able to go to sleep without having nightmares)
