"They did what?" Frida asked.
"I don't even know I'm calling Bror right now," Benny said and clicked on the contact and put the phone to his ear.
*phone call*
Bror: Hey Dad
Benny: Would you please explain to me why I woke up to 20 missed calls from your mother just to find out you weren't home?
Bror: Dad, please listen and understand.
Benny: Okay
Bror: Last night the three of us boys got a phone call from the three girls. They were frightened of something in their room. They said they called you and Frida but you didn't answer, so they called us and we came over. We intended to go right back home but they begged us to stay, they were scared. Dad, I know I should have told mom or something, I'm sorry, but I felt like we had to help them out. Don't worry, everything is fine and nothing happened.
Benny: *paused* Bror, I understand what you were doing, but really you should tell your parents where are or it could get you into big trouble, okay? We care about you a lot and we just want to make sure you are okay. Now I cannot speak for your mother and what she is going to do, but I will let you slide this time. You just need to tell us where you are next time, okay?
Bror: Yes, Dad.
Benny: Is everyone okay though?
Bror: Yes, Paula was the most shook up. I think she is doing okay now, and Roxy and Lia are okay. They are still asleep, it was a long night.
Benny: Okay, I think you should go home before your mother gets even more pissed off than she already is.
Bror: Yes, Thank you, Dad. I love you.
Benny: I love you too, son, if you need anything, don't hesitate to give me a call.
*end of phone call*
"Honey, what happened?" Frida asked worriedly. She had been sitting behind him, concentrating on Benny's actions.
"Well," Benny started to say, and then he told her everything that Bror had just told him.
"Are you kidding me?" Frida asked. "Are my girls okay?" She asked breathing hard. "Is my baby girl okay?"
"Roxanne is fine, all of your girls are fine." He said running his fingers through his hair stressfully, and then sighed.
"Do you think they deserve punishment?" Frida asked. "I mean, they were just trying to protect themselves..."
"Let's let it slide this time," Benny said hugging Frida. "Everything will be alright."
Back at the Lyngstad house, Bror and Paula were pacing around the kitchen. "Oh goodness I'm not excited for what Mom has for me and the boys," Bror said lifting his hands up in the air and swinging them back and forth in front of him.
"I understand why she would be upset, but she's acting like a cold-hearted snake," Paula said.
"Maybe if she was just a little bit more understanding," Bror said. "It's not like we are babies or even teenagers anymore."
"Well, I mean Edvin is still a teen. I'm sure she woke up wondering where he was, the youngest are always the most spoiled," Paula rolled her eyes.
"You're right." Bror said and then his phone rang again. "Oh no, its Mom. Hold up." He said answering the phone. After two minutes, Bror slammed his phone down on the table.
"Oh no, what happened?" Paula asked.
"She said if we aren't home in 30 minutes she will come and get us," Bror said. "I'll go wake up Edvin and Roxanne."
