Fifty miles away from Leerland, a man was busy editing some videos he took earlier by his cameras spread throughout the area where he is currently situated. Trying to move as little as possible to avoid messing with all his equipments around him, he reduced the volume of the video by a notch. He took refuge in a small basement on an isolated house near the edge of the town on the day he arrived at the area. Sensing that his laptop is almost out of juice, he inched slowly toward his bag and retrieved his extra battery.
"Shi*t. Need to save power." He cursed under his breath.
He has been in the area for about two days and he was nearly out of supplies. Known for it's history of mysterious disappearings and unsolved incidents, the town of Ameo has been rendered a ghost town and nobody lives there anymore but a few people did not believe that. People say that everybody who ventured inside Ameo doesn't leave anymore. The little town was very infamous due to the fact that thousands of people died in the area when an unknown disease took each resident one by one. The stench was very unbearable as people die each day, their rotting corpses being burned to avoid further spreading. The government did an investigation and after a long period, they declared the area to be clean of the disease. However, that did not convince people to live there.
The man was one of the few people that wasn't convinced that everybody left the area. As a man who has the principle of "to see is to believe", he went on his own to verify and uncover the reality surrounding the mysteries of Ameo.
He was staring at his latest footage that was caught by his camera near the chapel of Ameo. The camera had been recording since the time he had the camera set-up, but he fast forwarded to 7:45 P.M. He was casually walking the dark road when he noticed a shadow on the side of the chapel that was illuminated by his flashlight. Out of fear, he ran as fast as he could to the edge of the town where he was currently camped. Figuring that whatever was out there might be tracking him, the man immediately rushed and tried to pull-up the footage to send to his boss. He doesn't care whatever happens to him, he just need to prove that his suspicions was true.
He fished out his phone from his back pack and sent a fast coded message to his boss.
