The sky was dark. Stars were visible from the ground, and the moon was out. Glacier-like winds blew throughout Konoha that would render anyone's arms full of goosebumps. All clocks read 4:30 AM.

A thirty year old Sasuke Uchiha sat on top of the stone face of Hiruzen Sarutobi carved into a mountain. Near him was Naruto Uzumaki, his best friend and current Hokage, who was sitting top of the stone face of his father, Minato Namikaze.

"You should really be getting home, Naruto. Hinata is sure to be worried about you." the blue-cloaked raven advised the blonde man. "Yeah, you're one to talk. Sakura is probably feeling the same as Hinata." the whiskered man joked, raspily, as a smile creeped onto his face.

Sasuke responded with his infamous Uchiha "Hn" and stood up. "Well if you won't be the first in line to be responsible, I guess I'll do it." he continued. Naruto chuckled. "I can always count on you to tell me what to do, huh Sasuke."

In both of their voices were trails of tiredness and they both knew they should've been home a while ago. However their outings, called "Dad's Bro Time" by Boruto and Haki, were special and sacred times to the both of them when they would slow down for just a couple hours or couple minutes.

"See ya around, Brooding Bro." Naruto said, smiling. "See you later, Childish Leader." Sasuke responded, a satisfied smile on his face, and shunshined in front of his house.

It only took one quiet knock on the front door for Sakura to welcome her husband into the house. There was a chair and a cover in front of the door, and Sasuke could tell she had been waiting up for him.

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Sasuke hugged her. Although the door was still open and they were in the doorway, their body heat together made the winds purposeless against their warmth.

Breaking the embrace, Sasuke closed the door behind him and locked it. "I'm home." he said, softly, as if whispering it to the woman he loved alone. "I would've preferred you to say that at a reasonable time of night instead of at an unreasonable time in the morning." the pink-haired retired kunoichi snapped back.

"When I come back later, you always seem much more happy that I'm home." the man excused, a smug look on his face. A faint blush swept over his wife's face before she turned and walked down the hall. "Eat something, Sasuke. If you want it, your dinner's in the fridge." she responded, ignoring his previous statement.

Suddenly she felt a warm breath on her neck that gave her goosebumps. "I think I already know what I want." the raven whispered in her ear.

"Eww, get a room." sounded through the nearly silent house. Facing the high pitched voice, the two turned their heads.

"Hatsuki Riku Uchiha, why aren't you asleep?" Sakura asked, a bit short-tempered. "I needed to use the restroom, and I did, but now I can't go back to sleep. So I came up here to check the time because my alarm is out of batteries."

"Go back to bed, son. It's too early for you to be up." Sasuke instructed, a sigh escaping his mouth. It seemed he would be headed straight to bed tonight.

"Well, you let Sarada stay up late. Why do I have to go to sleep?" the boy persisted. "Do you want the short answer or the long answer?" Sasuke asked. "Short." "Because it's unhealthy for you to stay up late at your age. Plus, you aren't Sarada and Sarada isn't you."

"Yeah, but-" "No buts." the man cut as he picked up his son. "Let me say goodnight. You go right back asleep." he said, carrying the boy on his hip and placing him on his bed.

Bringing the covers over his junior, Sasuke smiled. "Goodnight, Hatsuki." "Night, Dad."

Later in the morning

Haki slept peacefully. The only movement throughout the room was the covers as he slowly breathed in and out. Toys were spread across one area of the room and clothes in another. The windows were closed and his dark blue curtains hung in front of them. Ironed and folded clothes were placed in dwars or his closet as well as shoes.

All was quiet and peaceful...until the alarm sounded.

"BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAANNNNNGGGG BRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII<3U4READINGTHISBOOKIIIIIINNNNNGGGG" echoed loudly waking up the boy. When the batteries were replaced was a mystery, but he wasn't fond of the favor.

Slapping the off button, Hatsuki pushed the covers off of himself and shivered at the sudden loss of warmth. Yanking the string thing, a lamp brightened up his room.

Getting up, he slowly walked past the dirty clothes and turned on the actual room light. After that, he opened his closet and took out a brown t-shirt, blue shorts, socks, and a pair of shoes. Removing his pajamas, he replaced them with the new outfit and walked over to his dresser to grab and slip on his blue arm protectors.

Grabbing some throwing weapons and a pouch, the boy turned off his room lights and walked out into the hallway, where he saw his big sister.

"Morning Sarada." he said and she faced him, fixing her glasses a bit. "Good morning, Haki." she replied before continued her stride to the kitchen. The raven boy followed her downstairs and into the dining room where breakfast was being set out.

"Morning, Mommy. Morning, Dad." he said, gaining the attention of both parents. One was dressed in an apron while grabbing silverware to set out on the table and one was reading a letter with the Hokage seal on it that seemed important.

"Morning, son." Sasuke said, putting down chopsticks and a napkin before the boy. "Good morning." Sakura replied to him, looking up from her mission statement.

"What's the plan for today?" the father continued. "Well first I'm going to go train with uncle Kira. Then I'm gonna have lunch with Himawari. After that, I have plans to help Auntie Hinata with dinner because it's Boruto birthday tomorrow, but Sarada's team has an important mission and he doesn't want his girlfriend  to miss his party." the boy explained, occasionally stopping to chew his food.

"Boruto and I are not boyfriend and girlfriend. He's just my old classmate, Haki." Sarada responded, defensively. "Someone's in denial." the younger sang out, clearly amused.

"Yeah, like you are with your Himawari that you must 'protect at all costs because she's too precious!'." the genin mocked, her brother failing at keeping it together. Their parents exchanged looks and wondered when he said that.

"Hn." was his reply before scraping off his plate and setting in the sink. "Whatever, I'm going out!" Hatsuki announced before rushing out the door and taking a deep breath of the morning air.

"GOOD MORNING, HIDDEN LEAF! YOUR NEXT HERO, HATSUKI RIKU UCHIHA, IS ON A MOVE!"
