Chapter 5

Kakashi's pov|

                'Naruto's been to quiet.. I would have thought he be yelling by now or trying to run off to save Gaara.' I glance towards Naruto

             Naruto is resting his forehead in his hands, hunched over while his arms rest on his legs.

           'He looks like he's about to kill someone..'

Sakura's pov|

           I wipe my forehead as I finish treating, Kankuro. As I do I feel a chill run up my back, I can feel the bloodlust in the air.

          I slowly turn around to look at Naruto, 'Scary..I've never seen Naruto look so..murderous before..'

           "N-naruto..?" I ask with fear lining my voice

           He looks up and flashes his dumb signiture wide smile, "What is it Sakura-chan?"

           'Amazing... I didn't think Naruto would be so..good at surpressing his anger..all that bloodlust sticking to the air like needles..just disappeared..in an instant'

Naruto's pov|

         I swing my legs and hop off the chair I was resting on, "Well? How is he?"

        Sakura stares at me with wide eyes for a second before easing and finally speaking,

        "R-right.. He's stablized for now but he needs to rest and let his body filter out the rest of the toxins.." She explains

        "At any rate we should get going soon, before we loose the Akatatsuki's tracks," Kakashi implored

         'This isn't anytime to get worked up..I need to come up with a way to save, Gaara and the only way to do that is to be patient..'

         'Oh..? How mature of you Naruto.. And here I thought you'd be a reckless kid forever..' Kurama bellows

         'Shut it.. If I act reckless then Gaara might die...damn I don't know what to do..'

         'Then why don't you borrow some of my power, eh? What do you say?'

         'Screw off..I can save him without your power!'

         'Hmm, just keep saying that but if you don't want your precious Gaara to die then seriously consider my offer'

        'Tch!'

      "Naruto! Hello? Where you listening to anything we just said about the plan?" Sakura  exclaimed

      "Yeah, let's get going already," I confirmed

       'I didn't get a word of that.. No matter, I'll still save him, I must!'
