You'll be the sun.
I'll be the moon.
Just let your light come shining through, and when night comes, just like the moon.
I'll shine my light right back at you.As the sun gradually begins to set, nightfall arrives. Contagious laughter that once was there, echos over the beach and the midnight shadow of dust stretches across the ocean.
Somewhere in die middle of this chaos, there's a girl staring at the white glow of the moon. Tear drops are rolling down her sunken cheeks and her chapped lips are sealed shut to try and contain yet another sob.
The beauty of the moon stares back mockingly at her. It represents all that she lost and what she desires. Wind of mourning blows through her hair as if it's whispering those words, over, and over, and over again.
Every girl wants a moon.
