I had got to go in the ambulance with Lucas. The paramedic checked me out then put a machine on Lucas's chest and told me the machine give him CPR. I started to feel closterfobic. I couldn't take it anymore. I fainted, luckily I was on the bench.
When i awoke we were at the hospital. I was scared for Lucas. A nurse came in and gave me the news on him. They said that he didn't drown at all. She got the doctor to tell me everything. That he had fainted suddenly. "Thankfully he didn't drown." the doctor said. "If he did he would have died."
That was the best of the good news. They said he had a condition called cranial nerve cardiac arrest. And that it was only cured with a heart transplant. Then he explained how it worked, his heart that is.
He needed to get a Berlin heart immediately to save his life since the condition was progressing by the hour. They put him under anesthetics for the operation of the Berlin heart. His face was pale and and went red in a instant. I was terrified, they would keep the CPR machine on him in case he went into cardiac arrest again.
He was put into the icu, i was scared, terrified, not knowing if he would even survive the night. I lied down next to him, after the Berlin heart was implanted. He started to gain more color and was not as pale. He started breathing at a normal rate, I was still petrified, this experiance was terrifying.
