I walked up to school dragging my feet. I sat up till 1am last night crying and eating pizza. I wasn't emotional just because of Oliver but cause mother nature has hit me for another month. I got to my locker and put in the combination and slammed it open. I noticed out of the corner of my eye, Alexavian slamming his head on his locker. Hmm. What is he doing? The 5 minute warning bell rang and Alexavian began to struggle with his locker. I walked over to him and stared.

"Have you already forgotten your combination?" I asked.
"A little." He mumbled. The tall blonde guy beside him laughed.
"More like completely." He smiled. I had never seen this guy before. Was he new? Nah, I think I have seen him hanging around with the druggies before.
"Shut it Reziel." Alexavian growled .

"Fine, fine. I know when I am not wanted." He said putting his hands up and walking away.

"So you forgot it aye?" I said smirking at him.

Uh yeah," he said rubbing the back of his neck. Wait! Was he nervous or embarrassed or something?  Nah he can't be.

"Move aside," I said pushing his arm. He gave me a weird look. "I said move!" I enforced.

I fiddled with his locker until it released and fell into my hand. I turned around and looked up, instantly noticing how close we were.

"Uh..H-here you go. I got to go to class, Cya." I stammered. I tired to scurry away but he put his arm in front of me before I could.

"Oh uh sorry," He said moving his arm.

"Its cool," I said walking away, feeling the blush crawl up my cheeks. Oh no does that boy have a crush on me or something? I will admit that encounter brightened my mood.

The bell for home time rung in my ears as I pushed my way out of the classroom. I groaned with frustration. How dare Mr Flemming argue about '12 nights'. I've read that play like over 20 times! I grabbed my satchel and started to head to the front gates. As I turned around the corner I felt something that made my heart sink. Oliver stood there, his arms around Adrianna's waist and lips pressed against hers. I gasped loudly causing him to look at me.

"Winnie?!" He exclaimed in surprise. Tears began to flood down my face. I ran as fast as I could away from them. I had no idea where I was running but I just had to get away from them. I stopped and noticed I was at the park. I wiped my tears and sat down on the nearest bench. I dropped my face into my hands and brought my knees up to my chest and sobbed.

After a while I heard someone sit down beside me and say hey. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed it was Alexavian. Great now he was witnessing me at my worse.

"Wanna buy some knives?" He asked.

"What?" I exclaimed, this boy never stops surprising me. He laughed nervously.

"It was just a dumb attempt at being funny," He admitted.

"Ha yeah.. you had me worried me there for a sec," I said as I awkwardly laughed.

"Well, why are you crying?" He asked looking down at his knees.

"I caught Oliver making out with Adrianna," I blurted out tears forming in my eyes.

"Oh yeah.. I was going to tell you but...yeah," He mumbled.

"The fuck?!" I yelled glaring at him, "You knew?"

"I caught him at the park but I didn't know who he was with," He explained awkwardly tapping his thighs. Just put your arm around me god damn it!

"Yeah I'm going to to go home now." I announced pushing myself of the seat.

"Let me walk you home at least," He offered standing beside me. I started to exit the park and we began the twenty minute walk to my house.

We finally arrived at my boring brick house on 52nd street.

"Thanks for walking me home." I said turning to face him.

"Its the least I could do," He replied with a small smile.

Just go for it, I thought to myself. I lent in and wrapped my arms around his shoulders. About a second later he wrapped his around my waist. This is nice,  I thought.

"Well bye Avian," I waved.

"Please, please don't call me that. Just Alex is fine." He cringed.

"Okay well bye Alex," I said walking to my door.

"Cya."

I wonder why he doesn't want me to call him that. I shut the door and lent against it. I still couldn't get what he said about Oliver out of my head.
