He had been there for exactly sixteen days. Sixteen days of solitude, the guard that brings his food twice a day the only interaction he gets. He knows that there are others in the dungeon, but he has never heard them, never seen them. Everyone knows that escape from Pavelock is impossible.
Talreth knows exactly why he is here, and he knows he deserves it. He shouldn't have gotten himself caught. He should have stopped after the last successful heist, but he got cocky. Now he's locked away, his cell surrounded in runes to make sure he can't use any magic to escape, awaiting execution.
He feels useless without his magic, powerless. He can't feel the shadows, hear their whispers. Without them, he feels truly and utterly alone.

He doesn't know why he's here. He left the kingdom like he was told to, and was happy to work away from the populace who shunned him. Yet here he is, back in the kingdom, awaiting for them to decide when they are sending him into the waiting arms of Neroth.
The guards knew Ezreal was crazy, he was the only prisoner that kept trying to talk to them, a smile on his face the entire time, even after these past two months of his imprisonment. They're disturbed by him, and even moved him to a more secure, more isolated cell just because of that damned smile.
He knows something they don't, and they hate being kept in the dark.

He doesn't get what the big idea is. He's been selling these potions all his life, and no one ever said anything about it. Healing potions, strength potions, the people love them and always come back for more. But some guard suddenly burst in and arrested him, saying something about how poisons are illegal, and now he's in the dungeon.
Alceric is confused, no one has ever complained about his potions before. Sure when they order a poison they're usually nervous and quiet, but he never thought much of it. He uses his own nightshade poison to give animals a quick death, and doesn't get why others are so secretive of doing the same.
He's only been here a few days, but he hears the guards talking about moving him soon, so that's probably good.
